Very clean modern and quiet and attention to detail - great breakfast and a short walk to good restaurants and beach

We had the loveliest time. Our bedroom got upgraded for free and we were welcomed to use all facilities as much as we liked. Phillip, the guesthouse manager, was particularly friendly and helpful. Along with the owner, Peter. We had a fantastic time at the beautiful Byron Palms Guesthouse.

Comfy sheet and friendly staff

We enjoyed the basic breakfast overlooking the pool. The location was great with just a very short stroll into the main drag & restaurants close by.

Such a great experience. Paul was very accommodating and friendly. Close to the beach, shops and food. Chill out at the sauna too. It was so calming and felt so refreshed and revived after. Woke up to a great sleep. Also free healthy breakfast too, who doesn't love that. We enjoyed our lovely little break here and would definitely recommend staying here again 😀

The cozy property was lovely with lots of natural vegetation. The real stars, though, are Filipe and his staff of friendly hard workers. We would stay again just to chat with these amazing staff members!

The magnesium pool was lovely. There were nice areas to sit out in the sun by the pool. Parking was good. The staff and management were friendly and really lovely. The breakfast room was laid out very nice and you could go and make a tea/coffee/chocolate drink whenever you wanted.

The room we had was smallish and we needed a bit more cupboard space for a 3 night stay in the room and the bathroom to put clothes, shoes and toiletries. Our only suggestion would be the 2 cubed bedside tables for the lamps (which were lovely by the way) could have done with some drawers in and maybe more shelves in bathroom. Other than that it was a great stay.

Staff were amazing, spotlessly clean, having a sauna, spa and magnesium pool was a huge bonus, would definitely return.

It was in a very good location for walking to the beach, shops and restaurants, but also in a quiet place.

The magnesium pool ( although not heated, but temperature fine), fabolous sauna & steam room. Bedroom very spacious & super clean. Use of pool towels & yoga mats a bonus. Parking onsite. 2 great new trendy restaurants around the corner ( make reservations!).

The breakfast was a bit basic, more yoghurt & maybe cheese & ham choice too?

Comfortable bed. Nice location with a beautiful garden. Parking possibilities.

The room service dud not cover replacing all towels, even when they were very dirty and left on the floor. They were still on the floor when we returned to the room. The bathroom was lacking hooks / hangers for our towels, and the room did not provide facilities to hand up and dry beach towels either.

it was close enough to the centre of town and all the action but far enough away to not be too noisy. the lay out and the facilities were lovely.

we were disappointed that the masseuse was unavailable and also that we had to stumble across the sauna and steam room and it took ages to work out how to turn them on. there was a long delay to make them heat up. I though there would be a greater staff presence but they only appeared at breakfast time.

Nothing to not like !

The outdoor area and pool were very relaxing. The king room was quite large and we felt that we had plenty of space to make ourselves comfortable during our stay. The staff were also very friendly.

The pillows were a little soft for our liking. However, besides that, we loved everything!

Adults only but there were kids playing in the pool one morning. Walls/door is thin, can hear others moving round the house and the front door woke me up during the night. No grill/microwave/oven if you want to cook something so had go out for food.

the inside rooms are like a shared house and given there’s floorboards it was very noisy first thing in the morning if guests were up and the caretaker was getting breakfast ready. It didn’t have the privacy of a regular hotel as the communal kitchen and lounge were right outside the bedrooms

1. no tissue boxes, at least one is required in communal area. 2. children were at the resort, which goes against what is advertised. 3. pool was not cleaned on the week we were there, beautiful place but the pool should have been cleaned of fallen leaves. 4. pool and beach towels were only dried in dryer not washed, which I didn’t think was right or hygienic, I do understand heat from dryer would destroy most bacteria but sharing towels with strangers is extremely unhygienic
