Location is amazing for a short stay. Breakfast was great. Good overall infrastructure in the room.

Only 3 things: 1) the facility was facing an expansion that compromised how pleasant the external area could be. 2) when we asked for clean towels, we received wet ones, smelling as bad as a dirty wet dog. 3) The shower water jets were directed to the wall, forcing you to stay too close to it. Besides, the drain wasn't working property.

Too many rules and fees if you break any. Not a relaxing vibe at all. AC is ancient and was broken which is a big deal in a 85F, high-humidity heat. Took a lot of convincing and 5 hours for them to take a look and fix it. I requested and was provided a backup room, to be fair to them. Half of the hotel was in construction, shower faucet was leaking (more gushing), too many towels were stained, the bed sheets were too small and would come lose at night, they’d make up our room but not replace the sheets or replenish the soap.

The breakfast and the cleaning of the room was very good.

The parking was under construction, so we have to park outside the property. The bathroom is good, but the toilet is really close to the sink, it is kind of uncomfortable. And there is no beach service, like towels and chairs.

The Porto da Rua beach

If you want to walk to the beach by the nearest way (as announced), be prepared to face a unlikely way (unready, too muddy, little native plants, be careful so that you do not jave a fall).

The place is very calm, clean and comfortable. It is near the beach and has connection with touristic companies to book a tour to the natural beach's pool. The restaurant has a good variety of dishes that are tasteful.

Since we are in a pandemic time, I was waiting for more signs about the safety procedures. Some staffs were not using the face masks or using it wrongly. Another issue is the poor wife.
