Location was great. Convenience, surrounding view, majestic mountains around the area!

Property was not clean, carpets were in bad repair, smelly and bathroom did not have exhaust system to eliminate odour and moisture. We had the keep the window open slightly (opening more would eliminate privacy) but all kinds of bugs got inside. Staffs were not cooperative and at times rude. I asked for couple of extra towels as we we’re staying for three nights, I was told that towels dry up and you can reuse. Pretty sad experience for kids with bugs inside and smelly conditions.

Very helpful staff in the office. Friendly, welcoming and informative. Beautiful view. Lovely balcony. Usefully situated to all the local amenities.

The oven is right next to the fridge. This was a problem as the heat from the oven would go into the fridge when cooking with it. Couldn't be avoided if you needed to get something out of the fridge when cooking. It was a very hot week but even so the fridge should have kept things cold enough. There was no fridge thermometer but we think that the fridge did not get cold enough. We all ended up with a slight tummy upset which we think was due to the fridge not keeping the meat we had bought cold enough. In the end we had to shop every day to avoid meat not lasting. I would have wanted a fridge thermometer and/or fridge to be located away from the oven.

Reception is not open all days. Luckily I went on a day and time when they were open. Location was fantastic. Just sitting in the balcony gives great views.

The way in to the apartment is like you have to go down the stairs and enter securely. I had a lot of luggage which I had to carry up and down the stairs before I could reach the elevator. I feel they should really try and build a ramp.

It takes 8 minutes from train station to the hotel by walk. The kitchen was so easy to cook. The view of terrace was very nice.

Host was very professional, courteous and efficient. Apartment looks better and more cosy in real life than in the photographs - very comfortable place to spend a few days and great central location in Grindelwald.

Small concern but the beds are not really long enough for average/tall persons.

The view from our apartment of the Eiger was incredible! Also the apartment is just a 10 min walk from the train station so you don't even need a bus. From there it's easy to go to Jungfrau. It is also super close to the First mountain cable car which was great. The apartment is very comfortable for 4 people, WiFi connection is great as well. All in all a great place to start to explore Grindelwald and surrounding region!
