We had a family holiday and this was perfect!!

The property is very Spacious. Beautiful furnishings and decorations. The house was super clean and many amenities. We felt like we were at home from the minute we checked in. Short walk to the beach. Fire pit made evenings outdoors soothing and relaxing.

This place would have gotten five stars except for some issues that would be easy to remedy. First the positives. Excellent neighborhood for walking to the beach, which is a block away. Very quiet and private area, with a beautiful outdoor seating area. It is well stocked with items for the kitchen, bath and household.
Now the bad—all three beds were extremely uncomfortable. Very hard mattresses, to the point that we had to lay quilts and blankets on top of the mattresses in order to sleep. Most vrbos I’ve stayed at invested in comfortable beds, and it would be great if this one would too. The couches, on the other hand, sag and offer no support. Two of the sliding screen doors were barely operable without using force. All they need is a good cleaning and some WD40. The interior windowsills are filthy with dirt and debris. Again, such an easy fix. The master shower door wouldn’t close without being slammed.
These are such minor repairs that, if made, would make the cottage an exceptional place to stay.

Another Wonderful Stay
We had another wonderful stay in Mattituck. The home has all amenities for a stay by the beach. The owners are responsive and check in is convenient. We hope to return every summer.

This cottage is a perfect getaway convenient to all the North Fork has to offer. Minutes from Love Lane, the cottage is open, bright and airy. Comfortable seating and bedding, a well-equipped kitchen, and private backyard with a nice brick patio all combine to make for an enjoyable stay. The house was clean, and communication with the host was excellent. The pictures are accurate, and the house was simply and nicely decorated for a truly homey feel. We loved our stay.

The little cottage by the beach was so perfect for my family. It was very clean and tidy, and had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed it so much we ended up staying an extra week! Dianne was super responsive and helpful whenever I had a question. The location is close to the beach and tons of wineries.

Great Family Vacation
This house became our home for a relaxing and fun filled two weeks.The home was clean, comfortable,and well equipped. The yard was great for kids, campfires and meals.The host was so helpful and responsive. We could feel the love and care that the owners put into this home, and we had the perfect family vacation here. We hope to make it a tradition.

Diane and her family are most attentive to concerns and respond quickly! The cottage is comfortable, with well stocked kitchen, clean newer linens and wonderful,responsive owners!
It is only a short walk to scenic beaches, which we enjoyed with family. Loved the farm, fresh produce, and nearby visits to close by quaint towns!
We enjoyed the new central air for the few hot days! Would recommend this cottage for sure!

Very comfortable home walking distance to a sound beach, with plenty of sleeping space and a well equipped kitchen. Diane is a very helpful and responsive host.

Superb beach getaway
My family and I rented the Inlet Drive cottage for about 12 weeks this past summer and loved it. From the walking proximity to the bay beach, to the nearby Harbes Farm and other vineyards -- we had a really fantastic summer.
The cottage had everything we needed -- and it was super roomy with two rooms kitted out with bunkbeds for our kids and for their friends to visit. The owner and his daughter were incredibly helpful and lovely -- alway willing to answer questions and in one instance, quickly deliver a new gas grill when the old one seemed to be past its prime.
I want to return as soon as possible!

Amazing Home!
My husband stayed at this beautiful cottage in July 2015. We felt a warm feeling and the amenities are amazing, and beautifully decorated. There is a beautiful large backyard with trees for shade. It is only located 2 blocks from the beach. Many nice restaurants and minutes away from the famous Love Lane of Mattituck & Greenport.
