A proprietária é bastante simpática e mostrou-se disponível para ajudar. O facto de o apartamento estar inserido num bairro residencial propocionou tranquilidade durante a noite (exceção sábado à noite onde a música se propaga pelo bairro até mais tarde). Perto de uma praia, ainda que o areal principal fique a cerca de 10 min., a pé. Minimercados e bons restaurantes a 5 min.

Faltou a supervisão à limpeza efetuada pelos hóspedes anteriores. O fogão estava cheio de gordura.

Tracy and Stephen are great hosts, very friendly and helpful, the studio is clean, 2/week new towels, the bed gets refreshed.. it’s only 5 minutes from the center of Santa Maria.. will definitely come back! kind regards Maggie

everything was good!

the hosts were excellent, friendly and very helpful. upon arrival, Stephen showed me around the area and showed me all the important places. the well maintained and clean apartment is adequately furnished for two people. the kitchen is equipped with everything you need - gas stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, pots, plates, cutlery, cups and glasses - there is nothing missing if you want to cook on holiday. wifi and safe available. Shops nearby, beach within a five minute walk, as well as many restaurants and the town centre. I enjoyed my holiday and would love to come back again.

Good appartment for individuals or couples to stay for a few days. It was fairly well equipped. A bit on the old, worn side but OK. The location (5 mins walk from town centre, 10 mins from pier) was good. The next beach was only 2 mins away. Fairly quiet and airy. Most importantly, the hosts, who speak English fluently, were very helpful in organising me a taxi from/to the airport and allowing me to check in in the middle of the night (2am), as this is the time when many flights arrive.

Lots of mosquitoes! You need to bring your own net and some DEET (which you can't really get on the island). The WiFi did not always work well but I had a cvmovel SIM card anyway.

Washing machine available and transfer worked fine.

We were robbed while sleeping in the apartment, the burglar climbed up the balcony and walked in through the balcony door, leaving us with big medical bills and scared to death. Moreover, the neighbours in the same building told us this has also happened to them this year(!). It is an unsafe area to stay, our advice for next visitors would be to spend a little more money and stay at a secure hotel. As for smaller issues, there was no fire detector available and some kitchen utilities were broken.
