Lovely stay, very quiet and peaceful. Friendly and relaxed host, tasty breakfast until 10.30am - fantastic for not a morning person like me :)

Ferdinando and his family are really lovely.
He took care of us and allowed us to have a real lovely moment!
the location is 15 minutes walking from the bus station, in the country side with an unique view but if you are not a walker lover Ferdinando will give you a ride!
Regarding the food, everything is coming from his own farm, wine rabbit, lemon, etc and the food is excellent!
we will come back for sure!!

I loved staying at U Campgnuolo.
The family managing it is so nice and welcoming and they offer very good services. From picking up from the ferry to the ride back and everything in between.
Located on the top, the place is great, in a quiet area and the views of the Gulf Of Naples are spectacular.
I stayed in a room on the first floor and it was very clean and comfortable, spacious enough, with a great balcony. It also had a fridge , which is a great plus.
The breakfast was exclusively sweet and coffee, but even if I normally have a savory breakfast, I enjoyed it.
Their restaurant is also great, we enjoyed everything we had. And having it there and with that great view, I couldn't think of a better place to have dinner on my 2 nights stay.

The hotel was clean and neat. It had beautiful view high on hill overlooking the whole bay and other islands. Ferdinando the host drove a shuttle service and dropped us and picked us up whenever needed. He was also the chef in the onsite restaurant and the food is delicious. Breakfast was great and he helped with suggestions on what to do with our time on the island. Highly recommended stay on Ischia.

I had an amazing sea view my first two nights. It was seriously so breathtaking and I recommend making the request for these rooms when booking. I didn’t but I got lucky.
I just rave about the owner/chef Ferdinando. This man does it all. He drives the shuttle, he makes amazing food, and he is just your go to person for everything. He has an amazing sense of humour and I will definitely return to this place not just because it was beautiful but because the staff treated me so well. Bravo!
Nothing really. It is a bit of a walk from the port, however they make up for this with the free shuttle!

The welcoming and warm atmosphere, the incredible attention and the sincere accomodating behaviour towards my elderly mum, the view, the food (delicious rabbit Ischia Style- potatoes, fresh seasonal fruit all coming from their land). Shuttle service at any time... great family run business.

Me and my partner stayed at U Campagnuolo for four nights. The room, the food, the services (including daily shuttle rides into town) - everything was exceptional. I have to confess I have seldom been this content with a stay. Anyhow, the people were the best part of our stay - we felt so welcome and enjoyed all our little chats. (+ the nespole!!)

The staff are friendly, there's a free shuttle to take you to the town, and you really need it because it's miles away -- Google said a 20 minute walk, but it's more like an hour's hike through the hills. But there is a shuttle. The breakfast was typical Italian croissants and coffee. The wifi was good, and the evening food at the hotel restaurant was excellent. The view is amazing, too.
So far away! And also it's NOT all on the ground floor like it says, there are a million stairs. And there's nothing to do if it rains, so I can't recommend this out of season.

very friendly, considerate staff that make you feel like home. They helped me a lot as I am not good in climbing upstairs. The transfer up and down hill between hotel and the port by the little golf car is very convenient and flexible. They even offer a ride to a closer bus stop which would take a shorter way to the other side of Ischia.
The view to the castle and sea from the room up there is amazing, though it's very warm in the morning (facing east). Home-made authentic and tasty food at the restaurant run by Fernando is a must-try!
Shower is simple but warm. It'd get very warm in the morning on the balcony - very strong sun!

If you are hesitating to book here, just don't!
Immaculate-clean, very friendly staff, great value, ac(!!), very nice breakfast (and other meals) with awesome views (amazing during the day and romanticat night), nice and quiet after a day of hectic Ischia. Yes, it is a bit high up on the hill, which ends up being a huge plus for the views and calmness at night, but they provide a free shuttle (in a nice lil "van" adapted for the island's roads) and you can reach the port in 4 minutes or so. Ferdinando was just a helpful and friendly guy taking care of his guests.

The host were very helpful and really took care of us. The free shuttle service from the bus station was perfect to reach the accommodation! Food at the restaurant was amazing too! The morning views and the position of the place is quite relaxing.
It's not something I didn't like, I would just recommend some decor in the rooms as they were very plain. Also, since we were 3 ladies in the room, I would recommend a mirror in the room too 😁

Room had a beautiful view. Staff are really nice and the restaurant offers very good and affordable food. It was good to have a fridge in the room. They also offer free transport from the port. I loved their capuccino :-).
The room was a bit dated with small shower. Breakfast was nice if you have a sweet tooth like me as they provide croissant and cake every day. Nothing else except the Italian dried toast with marmelade or nutella. My partner is more of a savoury breakfast type so there wasn't really any choice for him. It would be also nice to have some fruit.
