Maria and Giorgos were nice and very friendly :-) The accommodation was clean - every third day there was cleaning and change of towels, bed linen. After a cooker failure, a new one was delivered to the owner the next day. Maria and Giorgos live in a neighboring house - whenever they were available. The village Kerveli is a quiet place and a small pebble beach is clean - there is a beautiful bathing.

A mosquito net would fit in the window. The refrigerator would deserve a replacement. A shower cabin would be better than a curtain - the bathroom had to be wiped off after each bath.

The room is located on a very picturesque small bay (Kerveli) with the best beach I found on the island (small pebbles outside the sea, turquoise sand inside). I can imagine that only east winds can affect the sea but I assume that is something rare. Every morning we walked about 40 meters, passing through the carefully kept garden of the apartments to reach the sea and the crystal clear waters and then we enjoyed our breakfast on the spacious balcony of the room. Sometimes the owners offered us fruit produced in their garden and kept us company over coffee. The small kitchen in the room is equipped with all necessary appliances and kitchenware to prepare all the meals of the day. There is no TV in the room and that is great if you want to escape from news "terrorism" ! Finally, there is an air-condition installed but I would prefer if there was a ceiling fan instead. Sleeping during the night at Kerveli will be something memorable for those visitors living at large cities. There are no sounds to disrupt your sleep, no bars whatsoever but only nature's sounds like birds and cicadas as well as the sound of the sea breeze. The owners were very willing to hear our possible comments or suggestions and reacted immediately to some of them (for example they replaced the mattress the next day after my complaint).

Some of the room's facilities could be replaced with newer ones like the water or bath tap in the bathroom or some of the electric outlets. The WiFi reception signal was weak at the inner parts of the room since the transmitter is located outside of the room to be shared by other rooms also. A relocation of the transmitter could possibly solve the problem. Installation of window screens could result to better sleep for those visitors annoyed by mosquito bites.
