The owner Jacqueline made us feel at home immediately and we enjoyed many conversations in both French and English during our stay. The food was excellent with the day starting with a great breakfast on the terrace overlooking an impressive view. Belgodere was a lovely place to be based both for trips to the beach and to other hilltop towns in the Balagne.

Location was excellent, on a hillside over looking an unspoilt valley with the Mediterranean in the background. I travelled by motorcycle from the UK and stayed for 3 nights. English was spoken and the staff were very helpful, especially when I explained that I was diabetic. Time was taken to explain that some of the bread, etc. at breakfast contained things like honey. There was plenty of choice for breakfast & there seemed to be something to suit everyone's tastes.

Nothing. It's a small family run establishment and as long as you allow for that then your stay will be enjoyable.

A very memorable experience. This hotel is run by a charming family (Jacqueline, Jean Marc and Marie) who are dedicated to keeping their guests very happy. They will go out of their way to ensure you have the best experience possible at their hotel. I hadn't planned on staying in Belgodere (a last minute change from Calvi) but I'm so happy that I had the opportunity to experience life in this lovely little Corsican town. The restaurant is magical at sunset--perfect view out to the sea and wonderful food. Very restorative. I had the opportunity to stay in two rooms (sea view and mountain view) because I made two bookings and BOTH were delightful. Thank you! Highly recommend. Belgodere + Lozari Beach = winning combination for those looking for rest and relaxation.

Jacqueline and her family are amazing hosts and very supportive in everything. If you behave well yourself, even Oslo, the big dog, might accept you, not eat your dinner, and will let you feel at home and well protected. The location is great and sitting on the terrasse, enjoying these sensational views during breakfast or dinner is just amazing. The food based on local corsican ingredients is also great. Will come back as soon as I am in the area again.
