Location was excellent for both the town and the railway. There were plenty of pots and pans but only one tea towel. The apartment was on the ground floor although there were two steps up to one of the bedrooms and lounge and they did not have a hand rail. The apartment was very clean and also easy to keep clean. The shower was excellent with plenty of hot water and the heating system throughout the property was effective and controllable. A card was provided which allowed you in and out of the multi storey car park, which was only minutes walk away, at no charge.

Generally the facilities were good but we didn't like the wooden frames around the beds. We all finished up with bruises from them. The bathroom would have been better if there had been a stool or chair to put things on. Some of the lights did not work which made some of the rooms (upper bedroom and kitchen) murky. A small welcome pack including milk would have been useful as we arrived from the UK on Sunday evening. (Water and Prosecco were provided.) Two toilet rolls were provided which was not enough for four adults for a full week

Super friendly host, called me in advance to make sure I select the best apartment suited to our needs. Took time to answer all questions I had regarding my handicapped father traveling with us. Linda met us at the property and handed us the keys. Very welcoming and helpful as well. Overall great home base to stay and connect with my family!

We loved everything about our stay here! The room was perfect! We look forward to returning in the future.

The property was small but super cosy and has everything you might want. In addition an awesome view to the castle and the location is perfect as a base to explore Harz. The host was perfect as well. We had an issue with a locked/broken door which was immediately fixed.
