What a lovely apartment in this beautiful town! The flat is small, but perfectly adequate for 2 people and is very well designed so it doesn't feel at all cramped. It has a well stocked kitchen and the bed is very comfortable. The roof terrace is bigger than it looks in the photos and has views over the town and also out to sea and the twinkling lights of Morocco in the evenings..very cool! Communication with Isobel, the owner, was amazing- although we didn't meet her in person, she really couldn't have been more helpful and responded very quickly to any of our questions. The apartment is well located near everything and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Hope to be back myself in the future!

Nothing- it was lovely. Just note that the terrace is accessed via a spiral staircase from the bedroom, although that's typical of a lot of these houses and is clearly shown in the photos.

Great location in Vejer, the home is clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Great communication with the host and very easy check-in.

Location and superb views over the town, to the coast and to Atlas Mountains in Africa.

Nothing to dislike

This little house is in a central location with fantastic views to the coast and of the village from the windows and roof top terrace just as shown in the photos. Isobel sent us a location map and was there to greet us making an easy check in and easy check out. Her house is clean, comfortable and she provided beer in the fridge. We enjoyed breakfasts up on the terrace. We used the washing machine and sofa bed.The heater worked well on cold days. It was a warm and cosy stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. There were no negatives.

Isabel’s a wonderful, non-intrusive host who greeted us with a smile. She responds quickly to msgs (we used WhatsApp). If you’re not fantastic with Spanish, google translate is all you need to communicate with her. Vejer is a steep, beautiful hilltop town. It has PLENTY of restaurants and taverns, and amazing vistas. This apartment has one of the best. Upon entering (which, smelled so clean and was spotless) you have a TV room w/a futon (our young daughter was very happy there. Sheets/pillows provided for your make up), a minimal kitchen off to the side (we did not cook) and then a bedroom. The stairs (from the bedroom) go up to the most amazing view. It’s private and so quiet up there. Never even saw a neighbor. The route to the apartment - especially the last leg - is steep. I️ recommend parking on Calle de los Remedios (street parking is free) then taking the stairs on Calle San Francisco/Calle San Filmo. You roll your luggage up the calles to the last, smaller flight of stairs in front of the apartment. The other route (entering on Calle de Plazuela) has you doing a TON of stairs at the end, and is brutal (we’re in decent shape with a small kid. Doable, but I️ wouldn’t want to leave the next day. Not for that workout!). There’s no driving up to drop off luggage. You wouldn’t want to even if you could, the alleys are so steep and narrow! This place is a great deal, very clean, with an amazing view in a quiet location. We’d stay again without hesitation.

Mop (although clean) was stored in the bathroom. Pillows/mattress not real comfortable (but finding this across Spain. Just different quality/make). Steep climb (but worth it).
