Location, Cleanliness, Comfort

The staff were a little complicated upon arrival, they were very strict about check-in time and made us wait until exactly 2pm even though the room was already free and cleaned. I think sometimes sticking to policies too much is not the best approach. Imagine this after travelling all morning and having 4 hours to kill in the baking sun, just wanting to freshen up. The room was super expensive, but we will be fair and say that this was a busy time of year and in a very central location within Shinjuku. Still, you don't get a lot for your money, far less than similar competition that we stayed in during the same trip, and those other hotels & accommodations were far cheaper too.

Apa hotels rooms are what you expect from Japanese hotels. Tiny rooms, tight bathroom, no space to move around. But these are a given for typical Japanese hotels, so no surprises. The room had everything we needed...a place to sleep n leave our luggage, bathroom amenities, small fridge, excellent water pressure. Several good places to eat close by, short walk to Oedo subway line

2 small hairs (hope it was arm hair n not THAT other kind) on the top sheet, very slow elevator, unheated toilet seat (being very picky here).

Viajé con un amigo tripulante de cabina que revisa siempre los colchones de los hoteles, a nuestra sorpresa nos dimos cuenta que están todos manchados y sucios, incluso con sangre, nos incomodó dormir ahí, alojamos solo una noche y nos mudamos a otro hotel .

Molta polvere in camera, lavandino e in generale bagno troppo piccolo.

布団がフカフカで気持ちよかったです。凄く良く寝れました。 夜にチェックインしましたが、スタッフさんの対応も優しく丁寧でまた利用したいです。

各階に自販機があると便利かもです。

The personal has been exceptionally helpfull and friendly. Although there has been a little language barrier, they went out of their way to help me (using a translate website), wich is quite easy these days! Furthermore I asked for just a sheet cover as a blanket and they gave it + another thinner blanket without hesitation! Except the details I provide later on, the water boiler has been astonishingly clean!

The room has been quite clean, except under the bed and at the toilet hinges. If you are not used to tight spaces, this hotel might be a challange for you. The bathroom is rly small and when you're used to regular sized spaces, you will hit the walls a couple of times ^^. A small thing that bothered me a lil bit was that when you are leaving / entering the hotel during busy times, you have only 1 elevator for 10+ floors. So it wasn't unusual to wait for 3-6 minutes to get in (No staircase available!) The mattress has clearly seen better days. It had a clear dent in it you'd sooner or later roll back into. Ans last but not least, when I entered the room the first time, I noticed a scent of ammonia in the air. That either faded or I stopped noticing after I turned the AC on.

Overall the Hotel was very good but the location was kinda scary if u go outside at 0:00 because of drunk people but yeah would still recommend!

The location was excellent and the hotel room was small but well laid out and comfortable. we would stay again.

Reception area can get very crowded with luggage and guests at certain times. This wasn’t an issue for us but you need to take this into account if you are in a rush. There are several APA hotels in this area that are very close to each other with similar addresses. If you are new to Tokyo/Japan this might be confusing so double check the address you are heading to particularly if you are on foot!

Halal food please

Great location, easy to walk anywhere in Shinjuku or get on the train to go anywhere in the city. The rooms are extremely small but they were what we were expecting. Lots of good food and convenience nearby.

The area was a little noisy but I think you'll get that anywhere you stay in Shinjuku. The bed had a slant so you would slowly slide to the other side of the bed while you slept.

it was close to everything we needed

hard to find and quite small for two people. only one elevator so it was really hard to get down to the first floor around checkout time

The location, price of the rooms and staff were all excellent. I enjoyed having a refrigerator and kettle, and found this very helpful.

There was drips and forgotten bits of dried moulding (hairy!) food on the refrigerator door, under the refrigerator and various food splashes crusted on areas of the walls which I had to clean with an antibacterial wipe on arrival. Other than this, the cleaning was exceptional and I was very happy otherwise. I think those bits must have been missed. I'm not too keen on the shower/bath/basin all in one taps. The speed was either really fast and pressure washing you with water, or off. There was no medium speed or it turns itself off in 15 seconds, which is unhelpful. The bathtub was creaky and there were noises when in use and made me a bit worried it would break/a pipe was going to break underneath. I may be a bit chubby but certainly far from causing anything to break - it just didn't feel very safe when in use. The step into the bathroom was really high and I tripped over it multiple times, especially at night. The flooring in the bathroom felt strange and almost 'floaty' - like how it feels flying on an aeroplane. Most parculiar and didn't enjoy that.
