The room was excellent, the location was brilliant, however the standout were the staff. Every member of staff we met seemed happy to be there and that came across in their interaction with us as clients. They were helpful and supportive and made our stay there special. Thank you

The food in the restaurant ....... we had one problem with a meal which was handled very well, however the main disappointment was with the evening menu. The menu was limited and the special board did not change during the three days that we were there. A more comprehensive and varied menu would have improved our stay and removed the need to wander into Totnes to find an alternative.

The room was fantastic - modern and well thought out with lots of added extras. We had a huge, comfortable bed and the bathroom was superb.

we arrived on late Saturday lunchtime and had a wonderful lunch served by friendly staff. our room was lovely, whitewashed and sunny with an exceptional bathroom. it was immaculate. a 5 min walk into town and a lovely position by the river.

Right by the river, fabulous location in Totnes, spotlessly clean and staff are amazing and cannot do enough for you.

We arrived earlier than planned however room was ready. Lots of steps up to room which was spacious and comfortable with lovely views . Food at dinner and breakfast was first class. My wife was taken ill so we had to leave earlier than planned. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and understanding. Thank you. A great place to stay and we will return.

Friendly and helpful staff. Pleasant location by the river and near to town centre and station. Lovely big room and bathroom. Good facilities, even unexpected extras like fresh milk and cafetiere's with coffee in the room. Feels luxurious and relaxing.

Lovely position right next to the river, friendly staff and comfortable, spacious room. Free parking right outside, an ideal spot for exploring the area. Tasty breakfast and nice curry in the restaurant too
