Nice location. The house was very comfortable and the host was very friendly. I felt sorry to stay only for one night and I hope to come back for the next time with my wife.

I haven't noticed anything that i do not like

The apartment is ideally situated for seeing everything the city has to offer. Everything worked perfectly and anything you might need is supplied. The interior is very inviting and conducive to relaxation. You can sit and watch the boats sail by for hours.

More info on the parking ahead of time would be helpful. There is a city site that guides you to the free parking and knowing that in advance eliminates trying to figure it out on the fly. I recommend dropping luggage off at apartment and then going to one of two lots. The nearest one, about a 5 to 6-minute walk, has very few free spaces, but the next one down the road, about a 10 to 12-minute walk has plenty. I wouldn't bother trying to find any free street parking, it's not worth the risk of ticketing!

The host requested besides the normal booking fee a deposit by bank transfer that would later be given back. I had no idea beforehand that this would be requested and, to make matters worse, this deposit was booked back to my bank account too late and after a phone call by myself to the host. I think this really is not good and this review is now quite a bit more negative than it would otherwise have been because of this. It has never happened to me before on booking.com that the host would request a deposit and I don't think this is very normal.

If you want a stressless weekend or holiday, in a lovely town: this is the place. The hosts are very relaxed, and everything is very well arranged. All you need to do basically is to only bring your clothes! Beds are even made up etc. And the location of the appartment is fantastic! Restaurants and terraces are all around, and the lovely old town is just a stroll away. There is also a AH supermarket which is open till late. So a nice place, at a fantastic location, great hosts, buzz all around and the view of fishingboats in the harbor from your window in a lovely town. We for sure recommend it!

There are probably more spacious and modern appartements available outthere, and we understand the reviews mentioning the bed size. But for us being 1.80 tall that wasn’t an issue at all, the bed was big enough. And it is just a typical Zierikzee house in our opinion. They are not huge, but lovely! Just like the town. For us with 2 adults and two kids the appartment was spacious enough, with a very nice atmosphere and we loved our time here!
