Not good value for money and not a very relaxing atmosphere. The wine list is impressive, but not accessible. The food was too expensive and the preparations were 'haute cuisine' style, which is just not what we were looking for in a countryside stay. The atmosphere is stuffy, possibly because of how the staff are instructed to interact with guests - but also because there are too many services being offered, which the hotel seems to struggle to deliver. Some things we remember: when we were checking in, the owner interrupted us to do some paperwork, which we felt was rude. There was a table set up 2 meters from the door to our room, which other guests had taken for breakfast before we work up in the morning. Opening the curtains at 8am to find someone eating/speaking loudly right outside of our door was really unpleasant. We had assumed the table was part of our room, otherwise would have asked for it to be moved immediately. Overall, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Stunning property in the countryside, surrounded by vineyards. Beautiful gardens, stunning pool. Breakfast was fantastic as was dinner, set outside on the balmy nights. We participated in the cooking class. The chefs and staff were fantastic. Easy drive to beautiful surrounding areas.

Being in our late 60’s, We were a bit disappointed that we were given the room that had a small entrance with a couch, and many steep steps to the bedroom above. Seemed that every/most other rooms were on the ground floor.

The staff are very friendly and smiling. The rooms and all environments are lovely to stay longer

that property is very nice and staff friendly but some do not speak English or are beginners in the work

the lush and dinner menu does not offers second option. so if problem with menu or food restriction, no option or por option. restaurants are far away. we bought our cold cuts, cheese, etc.. food and they where kind to set a table for our picnic.
