It is an amazing gem on the beach!

House was great and spacy. Grownups and kids liked it very much. View was great!

Only disappointment was: we only had woods for 1 night sauna. But we stayed for 3 nights and had to arrange extra sauna woods ourselves.

Plenty of facilities. Hottub outside and sauna. A lot of space for guests. Nice view from the window.

It was very cold, on the second day of the visit we lost hot water. We had to go buy additional firewood to be able to keep the house warmer. There was a lot of dirt left from the previous guests (even someone's hair in one of the beds) so one of the guests left earlier. Also, the host approved an earlier check-in, but when we arrived, the property was not ready and we had to wait until the usual check-in time.

All was perfect and nice!

Location

The location is nice.

We were asked to make a deposit payment of 500€ (outside Booking). I didn't see communication about that beforehand. 2.5 hours before check-in time, I got an email from Joel saying that the sauna cannot be heated to a high temperature as there have been construction works going and only mild temperature is OK. For us, that was an unpleasant surprise as we stayed in the villa in the middle of the winter and with our team. Addition to that, the fireplace could not be used also because of the ongoing works. For our team, it was really sad news as when we choose places to stay in we filter results by "indoor fireplace" and "sauna". So two critical features of the house were (partly) missing. When we arrived at the house, the keys were not in the key box and Joel and his given contact did not pick up at first. We were waiting behind the door with our entire team. Then we got on hold of the lady who lives next door and she had taken the keys into her house but was walking to the store which is approx 4km away. So we had to wait to get the keys to even get into the house. Once we got into the house, it was relatively cold and heating could not be turned up also. So indoor fireplace would have really helped for a warmer stay. The floor in the kitchen was sticky and not cleaned properly. Some dishes in the kitchen were dirty which made the overall feel unpleasant. The house though is located in a really nice place with beautiful tracks in the forest to walk/run.
