Un endroit paisible, à deux pas de la pointe des Vergnes (lac), une hôte charmante et aux petits soins, avec qui il était très agréable d'échanger, un petit déjeuner royal... Tout était bien !

Very nice breakfast and friendly owner. Plenty of room and facilities for a longer stay if needed. There was a nice sitting room and everything was comfortable. Plenty of reading material and more bedrooms than we as a couple needed.
There was nothing we really disliked but for the price we paid I think we expected a little more. Furnishings etc were comfortable and clean but older and more worn than in many places we have stayed. We liked it there and would stay again for the location and friendliness of the owner but I think the price was a little high for a couple spending a night there. I think it would be excellent value for a family staying there.

We liked everything! we were cycling and were made very welcome - Laurence is a super host!Very close to a lovely lake, and the cats and dog at the property made it feel very homely, breakfast was amazing. We would definitely use again.

Unfortunately the weather was poor and we didn't have enough time to explore Souston more. Nothing that the owners could have done to change but if they could, I am sure that they would have.

She is a very kind woman! Have never had a so nice host in 10 years !
She is a traveller too , and talks very openly about it !
Breakfast was all homemade and fantastic !
I will definitely be back another year!

Overall, the place is great and the hostess tries to make you feel at home. Everything is clean, the breakfast is delicious, and my dogs had space for running.
My main concern is that the hostess did not use a mask and did not always maintain the safety distance required due to the COVID. I am sure she did not mean any harm, but (in my opinion), the current safety standards for COVID could be improved.
The other problem were the mosquitoes. There were too many and we got bitten during the night more than 20 times.
