The owner met us at the gates of the property to give us our key, she then proceeded to show us our room and all of the amenities that came with it. She was very polite and welcoming. The apartment was situated a short walk down the hill to the harbour and then another 500m walk into the town centre and supermarket from there.

There was no aircon within the property, however we were provided with fans which were fantastic during the night as it was extremely warm and we both manged to have a decent nights sleep. The double bed is actually two singles pushed together but there is also a sofa bed to use.

Everything was great, the apartment had everything we needed and was cleaned to a high standard. We had a very comfortable stay at Villa Russo. We arrived slightly early, but this was no problem. The warm and friendly owner greeted us on arrival and provided us with drinks and somewhere to relax while she finished cleaning the apartment. The owner lived only next door so if we needed anything or any advice she was not too far away. The terrace outside was large and had some beautiful trees and plants and the views were nice. Also, their lovely friendly cat Mitsy greeted us every day. There is a nice area to sit and enjoy the sun on the private terrace and a place to hang towels. Inside the apartment, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and a place to sit and eat. The lounge area was small with a sofa which pulled out into a bed also. The aircon was a godsend when it was really hot during the day. The bed and pillows were super comfy and we had a great night's sleep throughout our stay. The bathroom with shower facilities was clean and easy to use. The area is nice and quiet but in a good location, only 5 minutes from the centre of Tisno where the shops, restaurants and the beaches were. We attended a festival at the Garden Resort which was a 20 minute walk away. We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Russo and hope we will return again next year.

Ante and Maria were amazing hosts, so welcoming and attentive. The apartment was sparkling clean and had all the necessary amenities. We were helped with our transfers and could also leave our luggage on the day we checked out. Location was amazing, lovely and quiet, and an easy walk into the centre of Tisno! We couldn't have asked for better hosts and will definitely be coming back 😊

I loved the big terrace and the peace and quiet.

We loved literaly everything. Perfect location close to the sea, to the market, to several grocery stores. Amazing view from the terrace. The apartment itself is very spacious and rooms make you feel like you are in a palace. Beds are large and comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you can think of. An absolutely lovely owner (or actually to be correct his mom - we did not have a chance to meet the owner himself) of the property. We could not have wished for a better place and we definitely recommend a stay in Villa Ruso.
