I just loved the woman who owned it, as well as her nephew. They were the sweetest and I never even do reviews, but that’s just how good my stay was.

It was perfect

- Place was clean and spacious. It provides basic amenities such as shampoo, bath gel, water in the room, coffee, etc.. - The staff were friendly and nice. - Restaurant with good food in front.

- It looked bigger and nicer in photos but it was still nice and spacious. - The pool looked bigger on photos too. - The design of the room had breeze blocks which allowed mosquitoes to come in. Some were covered in plastic but not all of the blocks. - The place is located quite far from Ubud Central. Recommended to have rent a motorbike. Otherwise, grab or gojeck is easily bookable too.

Excellent short stay in this gorgeous one bedroom Villa at a lovely property set in a quiet scenic rice fields. The owner Ms Agung was very kind and welcoming and organised transportation to the villa. The Villa was gorgeous, spacious, clean, had a nice terrace, and was very well maintained. The staff were excellent, helpful and non intrusive and the daily housekeeping was great. The food from the Warung on the property was authentic, delicious and reasonably priced. We ate there every single evening of our stay, it was that good. The vegan banana cake was so fluffy and delicious. I highly recommend this villa. Thank you all at Villa Kubu Agung.

Wish we had stayed longer.

The staff was lovely, the owner (Agung) was really kind, we loved to meet with her, and we also loved the 1 week what we spent in her apartment. I honestly can recommend to everyone this Villa!

the people who run it were unbelievably helpful, kind and very polite. you get a lot of privacy and it’s peaceful. food was delicious!
