We chose to go for a long weekend to get out of Houston. It was an easy drive and when we got there it was a super easy check in process. The property is as advertised and has a nice view of the marina area off the deck. The community is really nice to and it’s an easy drive to Coldsprings if you need food or other resources. I would recommend this property.

The location in the Cape is great. You can see the Marina from the deck. The home is dated but cozy. The kitchen is small but has additional items in the laundry room. The pictures are accurate and the owner is quick to respond to questions/issues.

We stayed here multiple times it is always very comfortable and convenient. Karen does a great job of communicating before and after and always so kind and courteous. Thank you for letting us stay here we will be back again!

My husband and I spent several weeks at Karen's property in Cape Royale before the 1st of the New Year. With boating, fishing, hiking, bird and wildlife watching ( not to mention the pool and tennis courts at the recreation area!) there are many outdoor activities available to keep you busy during the day and a large outdoor patio with fire pit to relax and enjoy the sunset at the end of the day. The house is well-equipped, pet-friendly and clean, and Karen was very responsive to any maintenance issues that came up. WiFi accommodated all the devices we were using without any problems. The "neighborhood" of Cape Royale is exceeding well maintained and people we encountered on our dog walk were very friendly and welcoming. My husband and I are part of the AARP generation and after awhile the stairs to the master suite on the second level became a bit much for us. We would definitely like to return to the Cape Royal area but we will look for a single-level rental home. Thanks for sharing your home with us Karen!

My family and I along with my fur babies had a great time relaxing, enjoying the lake both swimming and fishing! Great communication and clean property. Me Beverly at the marina was also super!

Everything was so beautiful and perfect. Karen was wonderful to work with and had everything we needed and didn't even know we needed. This was a much needed weekend of solitude.

We had a great time during our family reunion. The house was perfect! The back deck was amazing to hang out on. We were so close to the marina and the water that it made for a really pretty evening walk.

The family and I had a great time at this lake house. It was clean and very well kept inside and out. We really enjoyed the double balcony with a great view of the lake. There was plenty of space for our puppy to safely play. The community was is very peaceful and safe. We will definitely will be back to take in more of the amenities in the house and the community. Lastly, the owner Karen was extremely helpful, accommodating, and quick to respond to our every request. We love this place and will be back.

Second visit here, always clean and comfortable. Very convenient to the marina where we rent a slip for our boat. Property manager is the best, great communication and very accommodating. Thank you for sharing this great place!!

We had the best mini vacation. Everything was perfect. The lake house is beautiful, very clean and in a great location. The owner is wonderful. I can't say enough except, "We will be back! "
