Really well maintained former monastry which has been tastefully restored. Also an extremely peaceful location yet 2 minutes walk from the main square in Nardo.

Breakfast mainly sweet items, although one of the guests did ask for scrambled eggs (not on the menu) which would have been nice.

The hotel is in a beautiful town which was lovely and quiet in the off season but still had plenty of great places to eat. Our room was stunning with access to the lovely pool. Breakfast was varied and delicious and service from the staff was really attentive.

It rained while we were there so didn’t end up using the pool but there’s not much that can be done to prevent that.

Hotel extremely well located in the historical centre of Nardo, close to restaurants and bars. Spacious room and nice staff. Parking facility nice to have.

The hotel provides one of the best breakfasts that I have ever experienced with a wide variety of local specialities in addition to breakfast standards. The breakfast staff could not have been kinder and responsive with smiles. Brava to all! The rooms are spacious, quiet and immaculate. The location is central and easy to approach.

We surely missed an elevator as all rooms are on an upper floor with LOTS of steps. This property is not ideal for anyone with physical handicaps. Also, due to the sporadic staff hours at the front desk, there was often no one available to answer questions or help with carrying suitcases up or down those steps.

Good service, good breakfast, comfortable bed, nardo is lovely to visit for a day or two. We also enjoyed the large bath tub and closeness to Lecce (about 18 min drive). The service people are kind and helpful and sympathetic. The rooms have high ceilings and a unique design.

Unfortunately we thought the pool was private to only guests of the hotel however it is not. it is shared by upstairs tenants who own the hotel. Maybe this would be O.K but they have a young puppy who barks a lot (even at night when the owners leave and leave the puppy outside for long durations of time) and the pool is shared with their young daughter (she is sweet but not exactly romantic or private or relaxing). the room is comfortable except lack of light (the windows are small with no view). the shower floods due to poor drainage as well leaving the bathroom floor inundated with water. Would also suggest adding a desk or somewhere to be able to work. Nice sofa but no where to write or work from room. Some added luxuries (toiletries, more ample breakfast, private pool) and creature comforts would make the price they are asking worthwhile. Over all ok stay, the service makes up for it and would recommend but only for a night or so.
