The room is very characteristic, clean and comfortable, it is very comfortable to sleep, the restaurant courtyard is a good relaxation area, can see the sea, the yard is large and parking is very convenient

Fantastic location on the island with a less than 5 minutes drive to the town of Capelas that had a great grocery market (Continente) to stock up on food. The charming stone cottage was spacious, clean, well equipped kitchen and the host was very gracious to share some local goodies/wine. Thank you! The grounds of the property were beautiful and well kept. Hydrangeas surrounding the pool and with a stunning view looking out over the ocean in the distance. After long days of sightseeing around the island we were so thankful to come back to this little piece of paradise to cook dinner and relax by the pool to watch the sunset. An easy 20 minute drive to the airport. Free parking on site. Highly recommend.

The view (amazing sunrise and sunset), the pool, the garden (the driveway is absolutely breathtaking), the peace and quiet we enjoyed. The owner was super - responsive and helpful.

Not a fault of the owners but be prepared for mosquitoes (bring a repellant). The nets on the windows do help somewhat though.

Just how much Maria loves to see her guests happy is evident from the lovingly tended avenue of sycamore trees with the lushly thriving hydrangeas along the path to the estate. The house in which I was allowed to be a guest is beautifully furnished and very spacious - for just one person anyway. I was welcomed by a laid table and very fine red wine. What a great hospitality! A covered outdoor seating area opens the view between palms and pines through the park of the garden to far over the crescent-shaped bay of Ribeira Grande. It's a quiet place and the beautifully landscaped pool invited even me, a sea swimmer, to refresh in the morning and evening.
