Nothing for us personally; but the property is on a bit of a hill and a 15-20 minute walk to the high street so that may be unideal for some.

Breakfast with Bobby was awesome...dry sense of humour was very funny Our hosts were very helpful

Given a good choice. Opted for full English, which was cooked well. Plenty of coffee & offered more toast. Enjoyed the jam, think it was not shop brought.

The property is a beautiful old house in a quiet location on a hill side approach into Rochester and overlooking the river. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and the proprietors look after you well. A lovely breakfast and totally relaxing nights sleep.

This very nice bed and breakfast is run by a welcoming and well organised couple. It’s just a very good b&b. I don’t want to say too much because I’m hoping there will be a vacancy next time I visit Rochester! AND there was real, actual butter on the breakfast table - plus of course other things. The house is in a rather spectacular position overlooking the Medway - our room with a view was definitely worth an extra £10. The walk down to Rochester High Street, about 30/40 minutes, is through a wonderfully picturesque and historic part of this very ancient city.

I’m reluctant to say what I didn’t like, because it applies to nearly everywhere I stay away from home. I find the smell of the washing detergent used for the bedding to be unpleasant and very strong. I use Ecover Zero Fragrance Detergent at home.

Spacious room and spacious en-suite. Welcoming helpful owners. Breakfast feast with cereal, fruit etc and choice of cooked breakfast. Car Parking no problem.

The breakfast was excellent the location is brilliant the river views are exceptional

we asked for twin room and got a double, then there was no bedding to make it into a two beds the bedroom was smelly and upset my hay fever the toilet wound not flush properly we didn’t find out until we got there, that they don’t accept card payment- fortunately I could get cash out for the payment on booking.com it said parking was available and it was only available on the road

The hosts were ever so friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was great. Quiet residential area. Quite easy to park in the street.

Exceptional breakfast, the location suited us, lovely view of the river and as we were attending a wedding we really appreciated the owner dropping us down to the venue

Very friendly helpful service, fresh milk supplied for hot beverages. . Large bedroom with great view across the valley to the river. Bed very comfy and shower excellent. Breakfast lovely, fresh and hot. Very good value for money. We would definitely stay again
