The location.

Restriction of bringing food and checking time! I'm working as a teacher and it was so much traffic coming from London. But they have no exception of us coming from far away. No flexibility/exception of checking time!

Location within walking distance to the Town centre. Breakfast was freshly cooked with a good range of choices. Property and room was very clean and well kept. Would highly recommend a stay.

This was an exceptional stay, I can't recommend the Belle Vue Guesthouse more highly. It started with a friendly phonecall from Mick when I had a query about the payment (I'd emailed him and he phoned me back within minutes to sort out my query). I arrived feeling the welcome from hosts Mick and Tracy. I asked if a desk was available for my room (as I was doing some work while on this trip) - there wasn't one immediately available, but Mick ordered one on Amazon and it was in place the next day! That's really good service, more than I would have expected (it also allowed me to stay an extra three days beyond my original four day stay). The breakfast was amazing - a really wide selection, including a delicious fruit platter which helped my day off to a great start (and nice croissant, toast, coffee). Room was very comfortable and a decent size, and cleaned daily. Bathroom excellent (it was ensuite). Price very reasonable for the quality of what was provided. I also really liked the location, very central in Glastonbury for the Tor, Chalice Well, Wearyall Hill, and the town centre. (Not much more than 5 minutes from all of these, perhaps 10 for the Tor).

Can't think of anything that could have been improved. Mick and Tracy were always very on the ball in thinking how they could improve things for their guests.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Belle Vue. It was clean, comfortable, and the owners were lovely. The location was perfect and the breakfast was 10/10. Fabulous!

Stairs are a a little bit awkward to climb, seem a bit narrow. But this is such a minor point.

Needs something in shower to put shower gel/shampoo in - eg a shelf or hanging rack. Stairs are a bit steep (nothing you can do about that unfortunately).
