The location could not have been better in a darling nook behind a dessert cafe. room was clean and kitchen sufficient. We were happy there.

Beware of check in time ending at 5pm!! Stairs to the beds are terrifyingly steep and small. Not good if you need the bathroom in the night or have been out drinking. Walls between rooms are paper thin.

Lovely historic building located in a pretty courtyard right in Tallinn Old Town with a good cafe and various artisan workshops. Nice private space, with good simple kitchenette and comfortable day bed. Upstairs loft with bed and window was pleasant and comfortable. Check-in is managed from the adjacent jewellery studio, where I was able to leave my bags for several hours with the helpful staff.

Sound carries between the rooms, but this wasn't a big problem. The only window was upstairs so the living area lacked natural light, but there were ample artificial lights. Would be improved by having a charging port upstairs near the bed.

Location ( in the middle of the Old Town), within walking distance to all of the places of interest. Very unusual and unique medieval building, where you feel cozy and warm.

It's hard to say. Villa Hortensia is a perfect spot for a tourist, who wants to dive into the atmosphere of an old Tallinn.
