Location was excellent The host was attentive but not intrusive. The apartment was spotlessly clean and everything worked well. A short 5m in walk into town.

Good location for the harbour front as long as you don’t mind stairs and climbing uphill - pretty steep in places. 5-10 minute walk to nearest swimming place but 20 mins to the best beach with ‘cantina’ (small taverna) facilities. Pleasant walk via a surfaced woodland path along the sea, though not marked so you need to look out for it. Selection of seafront tavernas within 5 minute walk. Mini market also 5 minutes walk away. Everything is downhill so uphill to go home again! Parking on-site and additional street parking outside if full (happened once in a 4 night stay). Hosts very pleasant and helpful. Robust wifi. Air conditioning. Well equipped apartment. Balcony with green hill land views and a small side sea view. Excellent standard of cleaning.

Power only on with key card so couldn’t charge phone/tablet if out. Uneven site, lots of slopes and stairs so not so suitable for less able-bodied. In Ithaca many places are only really accessible if you are a keen walker or have nerves of steel for driving on unsealed roads (or a 4x4!).

We’ve stayed here three times now and love it. Nice clean apartments, friendly owners and a great location
