Had a great time with our children and their spouses and grandchildren. The house was well equipped with things to do for all ages. Location was close to the beaches but in a very quiet neighborhood . The grandchildren loved the pool and the adults enjoyed the golf course and kayaks. Highly recommend this house for a large family!

This was our second time staying here. Our family of eight adults and five children love all the activities available at Salt Pond besides the beach. The four amenity passes provided this year were very much appreciated because we had difficulty getting them last year. We had a wonderful week!

Our children have moved away, 1 to Idaho, 1 to Mammoth Mountain and 1 to Corona California. Tho my husband and i visit them often, they don't see each other very much and now that they have kids we love seeing them interact with each other. We had rain the entire week but got a chance to use the pool and playground once, hit the beach once, hung out at the Bethany Beach boardwalk once and went to Funland at the Rehobeth Beach boardwalk. We even enjoyed crabs and shrimp one nite on the deck. The house was a pergect size and fit us all well and the extra refrig/freezer was a plus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Grocery was close too!

We had a lovely stay at Salt Pond Escape! Even with a couple days of rain, our two families (4 kids ages 9-12) had plenty to entertain us with bikes, kayaks, games and movies. The location was terrific with a short bike ride to a state park path and a quick drive to the ocean. The owners were friendly and responsive and guidelines were well outlined for our stay.

We loved the spaciousness of the rooms which were comfortably furnished.

What a great find! Quietly tucked away under fragrant pines on a beautiful golf course, the house is very spacious. It has an open yet inviting appeal in every room. Plus, it's a quick and easy drive to the beach. Their kitchen is nicely stocked with extras for cooking and there is ample seating for a large group in the dining area. If you choose not to drag all your own linens on vacation, the owners do provide them at no extra cost. We took advantage of the beach chairs and bikes provided as well. It really felt like vacation since we did not have to bring all our own. We did not use the pool or clubhouse because the weather was perfect for the beach every day. What a blessing! Plus, we felt the $50/per person/per week was rather steep. (there is an option for $25/PP for a 3 day pass) With our group of 8 people plus a couple of day guests here and there, it seemed like a lot. But the accommodations at the house were great and my communications with the owners has been stellar. I highly recommend this property and hope to stay there again.

The house is huge, there were more than enough room for 8 of us. The house is on the golf course, next to the 15th hole. The community has everything: gym, pool, kayak launch point at salt Pond where you can catch crabs and fishing. Short drive from Bethany Beach. We enjoyed our stay very much!

As advertised, well equipped, well shaded, well cooled, well located, quiet neighborhood, nice neighbors, reasonably priced. Accommodated our group very well, 7 adults, 2 children, 1 infant. We have an advantage having been coming to Bethany Beach for 30 years, and staying in the Salt Pond all that time, so we are very familiar with the area and amenities. Our family outgrew our relative's Salt Pond home so this was our first use of VRBO. We'll be back if we need this much space again.

We truly enjoyed the home and our stay at this Salt Pond vacation home! The house is beautiful, huge and comfortable, and the hosts were so helpful! Definitely stay here! We didn’t need to bring beach towels, bedding and linens, and they had more than enough beach chairs and boogie boards! Thanks for having us!

This home offered our family lots of space with many amenities to enjoy! The owner thought of everything a family needs, both in the home and on the beach. We hope to return and enjoy it again!

The home is perfect for a family! Two decks in a beautiful, quiet area. Many thoughtful extras like bikes, kayaks, stroller, kids dishes, beach towels , chairs and umbrellas. Very well stocked kitchen. It just could not have been better! We hope to return.

We enjoyed our time at the house in The Salt Pond. We all enjoyed kayaking, biking, and playing golf. We were happy to be close to the beach and close to family who also has a place in The Salt Pond.

We had a great time. The only wrinkle was that we had to pay $40 per adult for a week's pass to the club's amenities, We only used the indoor swimming pool ; the outdoor pool closes September 15. It would have been helpful if the $40 per adult had been mentioned in the initial ad, which highlights use of the pools but not the cost.

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. Three families traveled together to celebrate the end of the summer together. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own private space and great areas to gather together. Just a short drive to Bethany Beach and Rehoboth Beach board walk made this a great location for us!
