It was ok, the owner speaks English so it's obviously a plus.

Everyone in the dorm used all the water and we had a cut the second day I was there. Be careful, guys.

Samantha was really friendly! The location of the hostel was quiet. Breakfast was good. The beds were comfortable. Just know, that to get in and out of the hostel you will need a code to the gate. There is not someone in the hostel 24/7 or even say 9 to 5. Having a code is great since I could come and go as needed.

Getting to and from Parnaiba is not easy if you are using buses or even shared transfers since there are very limited options. Make sure you plan ahead when you will want to leave and arrive to Parnaiba since the schedule is extremely limited. The shared bathroom that I had to use from my room was on the main floor of the hostel, thus other guests from outside of my room would use the bathroom also, which is fine... but not when the toilet paper runs out. There were too many cats at the hostel for my poor allergies. Every time I turned around there seemed to be another cat.

We had a wonderful stay here! Inês and Kenny are wonderful Owners who make you feel very welcomed from the first minute and are very helpful in organising trips and tranfers. Breakfast was all you could wish for, with fruits, juice, eggs and fresh bread :) After driving to Barrereinhas with the Hostel crew, Inês called every boatdriver available too make sure someone waited for us to go to Atins :)
