The whole experience from start to finish staying at the Olif for my Wife's 50th Birthday couldn't have been any better. This should be a template how bed and breakfast should be done in other areas for the country. Such lovely people, with stunning rooms, great location all packed off with amazing evening meals and breakfasts. We loved every moment of our stay and didn't want to go home.

Fabulous breakfast!

The pillows were a bit squishy for my liking and the shower temperature was changeable! Very hot one minute, very cold the next

Breakfast was excellent, huge choice of food and drinks-fruit, cereals, yoghurts, cooked breakfasts, fruit juices etc amazing! We also had an evening meal there too which was was good Really comfy bed, large room, great bathroom all exceptionally clean

Could have done with a blackout curtain on the main window as there was a street light directly in front of the window on the other side of the road that was on all night, shining in through the shuttered blinds, or provide eye masks as the room was very light and keep my husband awake ( I luckily had eye mask with me) Also It was fairly noisy due to being on a main road and only single glazed so maybe provide ear plugs? Also I would have liked a shower cap so I could have made use of the rainfall shower without getting my hair wet!

The room was beautiful and had such a lovely view. We arrived there much later than expected on the first night and despite having stopped serving food, they made us a delicious antipasti board! They also allowed us to have a late breakfast one day over 2 hours after their breakfast ended. The team here are amazing!

There wasn't anything I didn't like, the only thing I'd change (which is in no way down to the hotel) was parking. We had to park a 10 minute walk away due to how busy it was.

You can dine downstairs and have a few drinks and then just walk upstairs to bed.

Great location. Lovely, helpful staff. The Tapas Restaurant and breakfast is fabulous.

We stayed in Room 1. The only downside was there were only blinds at the window and no curtains so room was very light early in the morning.

I requested a little gift wrapped box of biscuits for my friend, and Mari gave me the perfect thing! It was very sweet of her to do this for us. The location is great, right on the main street of Betws-y-Coed. Each part of the town is accessible from here on foot, and you can even come back in the middle of your exploring the town, in case you need to drip things off/rest a bit before heading out again. Mari and Aubrey are both very helpful - they gave us extra blankets and helped out with planning our days there. Breakfast was great as well. They even provided vegan options for me. The next morning we needed to leave early and they gave us both to-go bags of full breakfast that neither of us could finish! Would love to come again.

Without doubt the best hotel we stayed at during our time in Betws-Y-Coed, Wales. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the Aubrey (one of the owners), our room was very nice and the views were amazing, however shortly after we collected our luggage from the car we had been ungraded to other equally lovely room and even better / stunning views of the local landscape. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (we appreciated this!) and the restaurant / bar manager (believe she is the co-owner) deserves a special thanks for looking after us whilst our table was been prepared. We had three great evenings here, which obviously added to our experience of being in Wales. 
 The days we were there we started out really early in the morning, well before breakfast was to start. The owner (Aubrey) went above and beyond to accommodate our needs by cooking us a beautiful breakfast on the second morning and prepared a grab bag on the third before we went on a trek around the North of Wales including climbing Mount Snowdon and other activities. Aubrey and his team have such warm personalities and are highly motivated. The atmosphere is so special that we really wish we could off stayed longer. I highly recommend to anyone if they were to stay in this area, book themselves into the OLIF hotel, you will definitely be impressed.
