Everyone in our group loved this place. As a bonus, there was a monkey in the tree above the pool most mornings and evenings.

Overall this was a very nice property and with an infant life was made much easier by having an extra room for him, kitchen, and pool. Our baby loves to splash and we had 3-4 pool swims with him everyday. The staff is very communicative during business hours. You'll read in the manual but there was electricity outages and water stoppages through out our 4 days, and I wish it had been emphasized more at check-in as it's very surprising when it happens or you think you'll run out of water. The property is literally across the street from the ocean which is nice. Activities were very hit or miss - NO on the ATV and Estuary boat "tour" which we booked through them, and YES on Sibou Spa & surfing lessons which we booked ourselves. I'd recommend to do your research and book directly. The pizza place nearby is great!

Spent 5 wonderful days in this home! We loved everything about it and was perfect for our family of 5 (three teenagers.) The location was great for heading to the beach, exploring Tamarindo, and venturing out for some day trips. We loved coming back to the pool. Kitchen was well equipped with a great little market right down the road. House was clean and our needs were well met by the property manager. Chris and Galit were professional and easy to work with. The management company, 5 Star Tamarindo, went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. We fell in love with Tamarindo and would return to this house in a heartbeat.

Book this property! The house was absolutely perfect. Loved using a golf cart to get around. They organized all of our activities and stayed in communication! We travel as a family often and this was top notch customer service!

I agree with all the reviews. This villa is comfortable, elegantly furnished and well maintained. We enjoyed walking into Tamarindo (20 minutes along paved road with sidewalk) for supper but there are some great restaurants at Playa Langosta including Bistro Langosta and El Sapo Pizzaria). The Capitan Suizo and Cala Luna Resorts are also close and tables can be reserved by non-guests. The best part of Playa Langosta is that there is a national park 100 meters to the south of the villa. Gorgeous swimming beach - not much shade and you have to time crossing a river at low tide to medium tide, but just check the tide charts. Tamarindo beach is also beautiful but lots more action. Easy to walk to Tamarindo along the beach from Villa Oasis.

We stayed here with our two boys, they enjoyed having their own bedrooms and bathrooms on vacation! Outdoor showers were dreamy! We loved being able to walk across the street for sunsets each night, swimming was decent at Playa Langosta but I had to keep my eyes peeled for crocodiles 😅 we fell in love with Playa Grande, a 30 min drive and then we discovered the estuary water taxi which was awesome! Lunches at Sugaree’s bar are a must for any Grateful Dead fan!! The water taxi brings you right there and then a short walk to the amazing beach at Playa grande. Lola’s was another fun day at Playa Aveylla, another awesome beach! The Guacapelin Eco Adventure was a must with Native’s Way!! So many incredible meals in Tamarindo! The Mercandido is a must, everyone can get their own style food and eat together in a gorgeous boho’y atmosphere. Our boys ate the arepas 4 nights out of 7😂 Another fun meal was at Namu for the 7pm fire and silk trapeze show and finally, our favorite part…the howler monkeys! They put on a show for us nearly every night right before sunset.

We got married in Tamarindo and rented this property for our kids and family to stay at for the week. It was the perfect property in an amazing location. Everyone had their own bed rooms with private bathrooms and the private pool was a real plus. All this right across the street from the warm Pacific Ocean waters! Our kids enjoyed surfing and body boarding every day and the sunsets were amazing. The family of local monkeys visited almost every day. What more could you want!!! Pura Vida.

We rented this property with 2 other couples. 6 people total and it was the perfect size for us to have a wonderful place to relax and decompress. Each couple had their own bedroom and outside shower which was also fantastic and made staying here very comfortable. The pool area is fantastic, the kitchen well equipped, and the location in relation to Tamarindo was also fantastic. Beach access, groceries, and even a couple nice restaurants were very close by without needing to go into the busier Tamarindo area but a golf cart for 6 of us made short trips there very easy too. We all enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely recommend staying here

Villa Oasis was beyond expectations. The accommodations were ideal for the four of us. The proximity to the beach, downtown and dining were as stated. I suggest a rental of a golf cart during your stay. Very convenient for grocery pick up and touring. We hope to book Villa Oasis again in the near future. Tamarindo is a charming and very friendly town. Excellent food and fun shopping.

Everything was as expected. The host was flexible with us when dates changed and was always very responsive. The manager, Maria, was also vey helpful and responsive. The home had everything that we needed to have a relaxing stay. Great location, close enough to walk to anything but far enough that it was quiet.

The home was as advertised, the home is great, the location is perfect, and the showers next to the outside gardens are an awesome experience. The 5 Star management staff was unbelievable, they helped with booking excursions, recommending restaurants, and there communication was excellent. Pelicano tours, with Jose and Duk, were amazing too. They really went above and beyond to provide a once in a lifetime experience for the entire family.

This villa is even more beautiful in person. It is meticulously clean and they have paid attention to every detail. Communication was extraordinary! Bravo!! We’ve never had this great of an experience!! Pura Vida!!

The house was great! A skip across the road and your at the beach. Walk a little south towards the river inlet for uncrowned beach. You can hear the waves hitting the shore from the pool courtyard. The five star service was great, very attentive. Walk down to El Sapo for great wood fire pizza. We had a wonderful stay in Tamarindo, highly recommend this villa.

The property management company was great setting up activities and coordinating all kinds of stuff for us!

If you are reading this, book now. You will not be disappointed. The property is clean, comfortable, very well managed and the architecture and the pool area are just excellent. We were there for 10 nights and had a fantastic time. We could not have been more pleased with Ana and Natalia at 5 star rentals who stayed in constant touch and made sure every request was met immediately. (The gas went out a couple of times and we asked for an extra cleaning of the pool and both of these matters were dealt with promptly.) Having our own rooms and bathrooms was a real bonus. We had many visits from the howler monkeys and enjoyed watching their antics (including one very amorous encounter!) but they can be loud in the morning so don’t count on sleeping in! We were also visited by a large iguana and various bird species. It’s an easy walk to the grocery store around the corner and the pizza place down the street (El Sapo) is really good too. We would recommend you rent a golf cart for trips into Tamarindo. You could walk it, but it would be a pretty long, hot walk. We would also like to recommend some of the excursions we did: Sibou Spa - Do not miss this! Heaven! La Leona Waterfall Tour - If you are fit and like hiking this is really worth it. Really cool trail and lovely scenery and water, but for sure it’s a pretty tough hike. Guacupiline (sp?) 4 adventure combo through Native’s Way: Again this is great fun if you are fit. All kinds of adventure! Zip lines, climbing, swinging, and excellent water tubing. The horse ride was nothing much, but at least it was short. White water rafting - Great fun! Good for any level of ability. Rincon de la Viejo hike/waterfall/hot springs: This is great for all levels. The hiking is easy (we saw two species of monkeys), the waterfall is lovely (nice and cold!) and the hot springs are a must. Sunset catamaran cruise: Great fun and we met lots of nice people. We saw sea turtles and lots of dolphins as we sailed along. The snorkelling was a little disappointing though, since there wasn’t much in the way of aquatic life to see in the spot where we were. We didn’t check out too many restaurants since we ate at home a few nights and went to El Sapo twice, but we would recommend El Mercadito and the food trucks, where there is a really cool atmosphere. You can get some really good happy hour deals at most of the restaurants along the beach and we really recommend going for sunset every night. Pura Vida!

We really enjoyed our stay in the villa. The pool was a very nice feature in the location in relation to the beach cannot be beat. It was very nice to have bathrooms attached to all three bedrooms and all of the rooms were nice and quiet. The neighborhood is very pedestrian friendly… We appreciated having rented a golf cart to get into town.

The house is amazing. We had three kids were teenagers and my wife and I. We’re experience travelers and we expect quite a bit from the house that we rent. The location is perfect. It’s in a quiet neighborhood just south of Tamarindo and within walking distance of everything. Management staff is great to assist you in anything you need and respond quickly. The house itself is incredibly charming and warm. The pool in the backyard is awesome and ideal to jump in after a long hot day running around. You can’t beat this place. Several mornings we woke up with monkeys in the trees and just had coffee and watched. Super safe, with nice big walls around the location and double doors into the house, although that is not needed Because the neighborhood is so safe. I will not hesitate to come back and rent this place again.

We had a wonderful time at Villa Oasis. It’s located south of Tamarindo, so it was peaceful but just close enough to the action. The staff was very warm, thoughtful and helpful. I would definitely go back. Pura Vida

Loved this place! It was just as advertised. Clean, private, yet just a short golf cart ride to town and the action. We have two teen kids and there was plenty of space to spread out when needed. We will be back!

We spent a week at Villa Oasis with a party of six (5 adults and a 3.5 yr old). Things got off to a bit of a rough start when the air conditioning unit in one of the upstairs bedrooms failed the first evening. The property manager (Natalia) replied promptly and got someone out the next day to work on it. Unfortunately by the following evening we lost air conditioning again. The prompted a second call to Natalia and she once again came to our rescue. This time the entire unit had to be replaced. I mention this episode for two reasons. One because we were so impressed by Natalia and her team. They were the best property managers that we had worked with over our many years of traveling and renting homes. Secondly, it also speaks to the one criticism we had of the property and that was the sleeping arrangements. The beds in each room are quite small, especially for larger people. My daugher and granddaughter took the room with a trundle bed and the other four adults had rooms with a double bed and a queen. During our air conditioning problems one person slept on a couch in the living area while the other person made do in a steaming hot bedroom. After our first two days, the air conditioning was normal and we enjoyed our time at Villa Oasis. The kitchen area comes equipped with everything you need. The house was clean and we even had a cleaning person come twice during the week to pick up the house. The highlight of the house is the pool area. It's small, but very private. It's very hot and windy during the dry season in Tamarindo so we spend the bulk of each afternoon enjoying the pool and the abundant shade around it. We also loved watching the monkeys who visited several times during the morning hours and the iguanas who made a surprise appearance from time to time. I would encourage folks to rent a golf cart or car if you stay at Villa Oasis. There are two nearby restaurants and a small grocery, but if you want to go to town it's quite a walk. The road to town is pretty rough so be ready for that. The house is just across the street from a path that heads down to the beach. You will walk along what amounts to a horse trail and will see small lizards and iguanas on your walk to the beach. The beach is rocky, but there is plenty of shade if you want to hang out. It's a great place to watch the sun set. Overall, we had a great time.

We had a wonderful family holiday! This is our third time to Costa Rica and this time was our favourite. We would love to come again soon to this same property. Usually we like to explore different places but this property and the whole experience is hard to beat. The property managers were so accommodating and personable. They were lovely. We loved having our own pool in the afternoons when we were tired of the sun and pretending we could surf. We also loved the daily monkey visits while we sat by the pool. Thank you!

La casa es muy linda, es espectacular tener en la mañana los monos en la piscina, la casa tiene todas las comodidades necesarias y es muy confortable, lo único que no nos gusto es que el aire acondicionado del comedor no tiene la suficiente fuerza para enfriar esa zona, la puerta de la habitación principal no tiene traba y el baño de la habitación principal no tiene ventana con lo cual la privacidad no es la pretendida,. Nos atendieron muy bien los encargados de la propiedad y fueron muy atentos en cada necesidad que se presento, sin lugar a dudas es un lugar recomendable!

We loved the Oasis. Perfect size for our family and so conveniently located. The house manager was wonderful and helped with any questions or concerns all week.

We stayed a week in this beautiful villa in Jan. It was just myself, Hubs & our 22 year old son. The home had a definite cool/unique vibe. The kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of linens, the washer/dryer was helpful. Walk to Tamarindo- I read several reviewers say this was a quick(ish) walk to town- I wouldn’t. It’s a VERY dusty, dirty, unsafe walk into town on a dirt road. We rented a car for pretty cheap, cheaper then a shuttle to-&-fro the airport, but, we also used taxi’s when we enjoyed the vino at dinner. Finding a taxi was never an issue. Management- I want to stress how much I appreciated Natalia, the house manager. One night I was alone while my boys went to watch football, I ordered Tico-to-Go food delivery and stayed in (recommend), the power went out and I was alone, it was dark and I was scared. I called Natalia to ask where a flashlight was & she was over in 10 mins. w/ a brand new flashlight. She even offered to come over and sit with me if the power went out again- How sweet is that!?!? Both her and her Husband are very nice people. I talked to a neighbor who had been there for 3 weeks & was told that power outages were common & frequent, lasting as long as 2 hours. The ones we experienced only lasted a few mins. ONE complaint regarding the house- the master bedroom queen bed (downstairs which is nice) was VERY squeaky, EVERY time my husband or I would reposition in our sleep, we would wake the other. Between the jungle noises and the squeaky queen size bed (I’m used to a king), I never got a good night sleep. Monkeys- we were REALLY excited about having monkeys in the backyard UNTILL they came and both pooped and pee’d in the backyard. Still- it’s exciting when a band of monkeys come trouncing through. Bugs/snakes- we left food out one night & had some ants on the counter. Don’t leave food out. I saw NO snakes or spiders on this, my 3rd trip to Costa Rica, 2nd to Tamarindo. Restaurants- Go to Patagonia Costa Rica- This IS a 3rd world country. This 3rd trip might very well be my last. We left CR Sat and on Mon, I got a call from the check company our bank contracts w/ & was told that they received a request for an “E-check”. The hacker claimed to be my Husband, submitted a DL (fake ID) bank statements & forged my signature. The Hackerd were able to hack hubs lap-top and access ALL our banking information. We’ve had to close our accounts & have been dealing w/ this ever since. ADVICE- Do NOT trust the wi-fi.

All the comforts of home in a tastefully decorated and unique tropical setting. From the open-air showers to the Smart TV with Netflix, the lush greenery inside & outside the villa, to the monkeys in the trees, everything was beyond our imagination, let alone expectations. Days started with morning coffee by the pool and the neighbourhood iguana or howler monkeys passing through the trees above, afternoons were filled with either walks into Tamarindo town (15 mins) or days at the beach (1 min walk across the street, go left on beach for 5 mins to find best swimming in front of resort by the estuary). Evenings were quiet and early to bed. Reservation with owner and check in/out with rental company up the street were perfect. Villa is highly recommended!
