Convenient location, car park outside. Good value dining as well. Single rooms available which is not usually the case in a lot of hotels.
Fascinating medieval hall so love the history associated with the property. However this does mean the hotel feels a bit like a rabbit warren.

The room on the 1st floor was spacious and spotless. The shower over the bath worked well. The bed was comfortable and breakfast very good with lots of vegetarian & healthy options & reasonable. I could see the river from the window. I liked the old beams & history of the place. Short walk around the corner into lovely Tewkesbury.
Nothing really. I enjoyed my stay & would stay again. Probably harder for people on higher floors with luggage & no lift but I travelled light.

The location was perfect. Very satisfactory breakfast.
I should have booked direct and explained my requirements. At aged 82 room 301 was at the top of the building and 40 plus stairs was a bit of a challenge.

App ordering food & drink was a pain, poor wifi, took ages.
Staff should be allowed to assist taking orders.

Room was very dated. Rang ahead on 2 occasions to say it was my 65th birthday .and told I had a GREAT room looking out on the street. Instead gad very tired room facing river . Decking blocking view anyway

I live the breakfast l always have eggs Benedict and never been disappointed ! We stay all over uk in air b&b but l have to say my favourite has to be staying with you especially at Tewksbury but also Shrewsbury so this gives me to say a very big Thankyou very much Mrs Philippa Brown

Beautiful old building with lots of character; tasty breakfast; warm and friendly staff; clean room; easily accessible and well-provided bathroom, perfect location near the abbey.
The room was slightly slanted and the walls a little thin but to be expected in an old building.

Room was clean and quiet, the food menu lots of choice to choose from and drink were very good value for money. The portion size of the food you would not go hungry. Lovely Tudor hotel and great central location.
Would have preferred a separate shower rather than over the bath.

Lovely location with easy and convenient parking. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. The room was quaint and quirky, due to the period nature of the property which we really loved, but still clean, well maintained and well equipped. Obviously as it’s a Wetherspoon pub, meals and drinks are very accessible.
There wasn’t anything to dislike really. Slight gripe in that the receptionist that checked us in didn’t get the card activated correctly, so we found ourselves “locked out” on our second night. Not an issue though as assistant was easily available and the matter resolved quickly.

Lovely place to stay, with a fabulous outside area. Room was large with a very comfortable bed. Very central location. Would definitely stay here again.
