found it difficult to deal w staff, no flexibility, inability to leave our luggage in the lobby after checking out, staff knocking on our room door exactly at 10am asking us to leave, because they had to clean the room immediately. Our room was renovated, but all other rooms used by our group were fairly run down.

Aircon worked well. Location was good for what we needed.

Rooms suffer from musty smell, but was gone once you aired the room out. Shower curtains smelled like B.O. Construction across road.

The first impression was a fairly old Motel building but never judge a book by its cover. The room was lovely and light, fabulous clean extremely well made beds and a newly tiled bathroom. Absolutely perfect for what we needed to stay close to relatives. With the humidity the pool was a life saver , beautiful and sparkling clean and perfect respite. The icing on the cake the extremely helpful and chatty owners. Nothing was a problem. I nearly didn't write a review to hide this little gem, but other travellers needs to support such a fabulous small business

Lots of off road parking was great , close walking to RSL, busy road leading to Stradbroke island ferry

The location was great as we were catching the ferry to north straddie

The bed was a bit soft

Ground floor room. Staff were able to provide limited local information.

Simple room, nothing flash. Had everything you need for a quick overnight stay. Just a minute or two in the car from the centre of town, maybe 10 minutes walk. All we needed.
