The staff are amazing, Sofia in particular. We got early check-in and a late check-out due to our flight timings. They were very accommodating to all our requests. Neighbourhood is lovely and you have everything within reach, we're definitely staying there again when back to Athens!

very nice appointed apartment even if a little old, the upkeep is very good! The location is optimum, close to good restaurants and cafés. The staff are very efficient.

Toiletries should be included for the duration of the stay. Light weight travelers often don’t carry such items. I was coming from Portugal where properties provide such items.

Great location - fantastic neighbourhood to wander around once you have done all the tourist activities. Very comfortable stay with everything you need to feel at home.

The apartment was very cosy and comfortable. The property managers were easy to contact on Whatsapp when needed and offered a lot of helpful advice including directions to a nearby supermarket and restaurants. They spoke excellent English. Internet download speed was decent (upload speed not great), and it was relatively reliable. A restaurant called Peinaleon (about 1 block away) serves homey Greek cuisine and a Greek kebab shop Kalamaki Biftekaki (about 2 blocks away) was a regular for our dinners (very cheap!). The kitchen was well equipped. A Saturday farmers market is located about 8 minutes walk (south-west) in Exarcheia. During the day a walk to nearby Strefi Hill is recommended - so few people know about this.

The ceiling above the shower was very low and I couldn't stand up straight (I'm 205cm tall, so it might not affect everyone). The electricity went out for 1 day during out 25-day stay due to maintenance done by the electricity company. After getting in touch with the property managers they were able to keep me informed of what was happening. The location isn't especially close to the centre of the city on foot - it takes about a 20-minute walk to reach the busier sections. However, considering the price, it was still good value. We used the BeatTaxi app to book taxis which were relatively affordable (similar to Uber but uses registered taxis). The suburb of Exarcheia has a reputation with locals for it's occasional riots, street violence, gangs, and limited police presence. We didn't see anything during our stay, but were recommended by locals to avoid walking on certain streets at night (during the day its fine).
