House was perfect. Great amenities with everything stocked. The rooms were cozy. Everything was clean and we had all we needed and more. We loved the fire on the back porch and our boys enjoyed the ping pong room and outdoor sports. No luck with fishing off the dock but we will be back❤️

This is one of the nicest lake properties that we have vacationed in at Lake Gaston. The house was beautifully decorated, comfortable and had amazing lake views from the living room and sunroom. We enjoyed relaxing on the back deck taking in the views of the lake. Also, had a great time fishing at the boathouse, kayaking and sightseeing on the lake on our boat. Would love to vacation at this wonderful property again!

This house is beautiful both inside and outside. The yard and deck for swimming and playing was phenomenal. Excellent place for children and very accommodating for adults!! We will be returning for years to come!

We had an amazing time at this property. The house was just as described. Each room was beautifully decorated and so well stocked. The kitchen had any and everything you could imagine. The living room furniture was very comfortable and accommodated everyone in our group for the EPIC Wii battles we had at night. The beds were extremely comfortable. Lanni made sure all necessary beds were made up for us upon arrival so everyone could just settle in. The bathrooms were clean and beautiful. They were well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and other necessities in case you forget! We spent most of our time outside. The deck was so inviting and a great spot for morning coffee or afternoon happy hour. The view of the lake was so calming. But...the dock was the place to be! Moms were sunbathing, dads were fishing, kids were swimming and no one was getting in each other's way! The fridge in the boat house was to stash drinks while on the dock. It was also very well stocked with floats, ropes, life jackets, and anything else you needed to enjoy the water. The dock furniture was so comfortable! Be careful with those bouncy chairs under the fan...they were responsible for MANY naps! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Lanni was a wonderful and responsive host and truly made this a home away from home. Looking forward to our next vacation already!

This is an absolute stunning lake house situated on the shores of Lake Gaston. The house was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated with great finishes. There were so many great amenities for any family to enjoy including ping pong, corn hole, badminton, and a ton of activities related to the lake such as kayaks, canoes and so much more. The boat house has a great sunning area with recliners and chairs. There are multiple decks on the house and a screened room all with comfortable furniture. We spent every morning on the deck watching the sun come up over the lake. It was very quiet and the sound of the birds, the lapping of the water, and an occasional boat passing by was so relaxing. A great fire pit was located by the lake and plenty of firewood was available. If we had to come up with any negative comment it would be that the food stores and restaurants are a distance from the house. However, there were great outside grills, pizza stone, and the kitchen was stacked to the max with every type of kitchen appliance you would ever need or want. The owner was great to work with and the check in/out process was very easy. We would gladly return to this property and would highly recommend it to others!

Our group stayed for a long weekend and enjoyed every second of this beautiful getaway! Lanni is a wonderful hostess, and has the house so well prepared for guests, from having extra blankets and towels available to having items labeled with instructions she made our stay all the better! So glad to have stayed here and hoping to stay again in the future!

This property was simply amazing! Check in was a breeze and the property was immaculate. Everything you could possibly need for a vacation is already in stock there. We loved the kayaks and being able to fish from the dock. We will absolutely be returning!

Superb location. House is in great condition, probably the cleanest house I have ever been in. Owner has provided so much more than required. I agree with all the other reviews, the owner's description is accurate. Owner was very easy to work with. The walk from house to water is very easy, and access to boathouse is given along with lots of fishing gear (could have left our gear at home. Caught several large catfish from dock (largest over 11 pounds), and owner even provides fishing license. We spent a week here and our sole purpose for the trip was to fish. There were rooms in the house that we didn't even go in. Lots of options on the multiple televisions. Wifi quality was good enough for 3 people. Having linens provided and beds made was tremendous. Will definitely return.

We have stayed at several VRBO properties. This one goes about and beyond. The attention to detail was great. Everything is labeled and easy to find. We would love to rent this place in the summer months! We came as a family fishing trip. We enjoyed the property as there was plenty of space and yet still cozy! Will definitely return!

This lake house could not have been the best place to visit and enjoy family. We celebrated current and passed life as my husband auntie passed at 83 and his father turned 80 the same weekend. The lake house help us do just that. The host was amazing because she was available, nice and understanding. We realized at the last minute we wanted to stay an extra night. Since the cabin was available our host accommodate us with an additional night. A life saver because we were to exhausted to drive back home!! Thank you!! We had no issues at all. Everything was label (excellent) fully stocked (10 stars) clean and beautiful. Watching the sun rise over the lake was one of the best things to wake up to ! Our family is planning another trip this summer and we can't wait!! I will say if available grab it because it is an experience everyone should have!! Thank you , again for sharing your beautiful lake house!! AWESOME!!

We have had the quickest response from the time we requested to book to the end of our trip.... my sister entered the property and started dancing with joy this is the 1st property that was fully equipped with top of the line spices, Appliances in abundance, dinnerware, serving platters for indoor and outdoor use, multiple seating areas outdoor on the upper and lower patios, toiletries hair products, awesome firstaid kit i can go on for days! we had an amazing Christmas 2022..staying in cooking playing family games that was also provided by our amazing host Lanni. We cannot wait to visit everything was just as pictured and she left us detailed instructions for everything and even a beautiful welcome gift and holiday card. Simply the best.

Tons of things for kids to do. Great comforts especially during cold weather like we experienced.

This is our second year staying at this amazing Lakehouse. We stay in a lot of VRBO rentals, and this is by far the most organized, well stocked and clean property we have stayed in. The house is extremely comfortable with lots of seating inside and out. Kitchen has everything you need, along with an outside kitchen that includes a weber gas grill, Blackstone griddle, and sink. Lanni is very responsive and helpful when needed. We can’t wait to return next year.

Probably the best rental we’ve ever stayed in. Felt more like a bed and breakfast. All details have been thought of. Very clean and comfortable. The water is right there w plenty of seating for all. Love the outdoor space. Would come back again in a heartbeat.

The home is spectacular and Lanni is so organized with everything labeled for convenience. The view was stunning and hardly any steps to the water. We had a small communication issue in the beginning but I appreciated lanni calling to resolve when things were getting lost in email translation. I am considering renting this place again for me and my mom! Fully stocked with everything you would need to unplug and relax! .

We rented the house for a reunion weekend with 2 other small families. The house was absolutely perfect for our group. It was clean and even more beautiful than the photos online. The main living area provided a great space for all of us to gather. The weather was too cool for water activities, but we enjoyed fishing off the pier and making s’mores over the fire pit. We played games and grilled out at night and even took a day trip out to Rosemont Vineyard. It was the perfect Fall getaway. We will definitely be booking again. The only downside to being in such a quaint location is the long drive to a general store, like a Walmart. So make sure you bring everything you need if you don’t plan to leave. There is a grocery store not too far away.

This property offers many amenities and there's lots of fun for the family to enjoy, even the neighbors were nice! We highly recommend staying at this property!

Perfect Lakehouse for a relaxing week with family! The property is just as it is listed and pictured, but so much more! The home is comfortable, organized well and the labels and house book answers any and all questions we might have. The appliances, kitchen and bathrooms have plenty of the necessities and are beautifully updated. The beds are super comfortable and the blackout curtains were perfect for sleeping in! Our family loved having morning coffee on the back deck sectional and spending evenings on the boat dock. The spaces have been designed to offer shade or sun as desired while still being able to hang out together! Our family also loved the kayaks, paddleboards and floats - which there are plenty of for everyone. We took our boat and conveniently put in at the community boat ramp just down the street, but the property would have been just as much fun even without taking our boat! Owner, Lanni, was super easy to communicate with and always available to answer any questions, she gets more than 5 stars as a host! We loved our time at this beautiful home and look forward to coming back next year!

This stunning lakefront home and property were perfect for our first summer trip to Lake Gaston. It is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need (and more), and is very clean and organized. Lanni was a very thoughtful host and a great communicator. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit the lake!
