We booked this cottage for over the Christmas period, it was our 1st Christmas holiday away. The Cottage is beautiful and so was the location, right near shops and for nice walks. The cottage itself was clean, spacious, and everything you need. The hosts were great and popped in during our stay to set up the hot tub, and even dropped off some beers and fizzy as a gift which was a lovely touch. Would 100% recommend and will return at some point as we loved it so much

Couldn’t fault the property it’s spot on! Only thing people should be aware of is the tit that owns the cafe down in the car park! He’s not a nice person and would t recommend anybody to good there.

The place was clean, spacious, had all the amenities. Lovely comfy sofas, bed was also really comfortable. Right in the town so have everything on your doorstep. Absolutely brilliant.

I didn't receive the email with the instructions on how to get in and didn't realise this until we arrived so it took a little while to get through to the agent (phone signal is patchy) to get this info. So look out for the email with the details and call in advance if you don't get this.

clean, good setting, excellent facilities

there are nails (from carpet grip strips) coming through the carpet on the small stairs leading up to the mezzanine in at least one of the bed rooms. We had one person scratched, but someone could get injured worse. suggest you make safe as soon as possible.

Fabulous house on the edge of the village. Facilities were excellent. House as exceptionally clean. The hot-tub was checked/cleaned everyday...although early in the morning so we weren't disturbed at all. We booked this for my niece's 40th birthday, we were a party of 8 aged from 88 to 6 and we all absolutely loved the house. The location was fantastic, only a short walk into the village with all the shops and pubs, the cafe just behind the house did a fantastic breakfast. The Indian takeaway was one of the best we've ever had...despite the poor reviews! and the icing in the cake was the Kite feeding station just down the road...absolutely breathtaking!!! We want to return ASAP!!

Excellent location for exploring Elan valley and the town. generally well equipped

parking difficult particularly with luggage. no way to dry wet clothes however there is a laundrette in walking distance.

Location and rooms all having en-suite

The shower trays were a bit slippy - we were all ok with this apart from my Dad who was a bit wary of this being 84. Perhaps a non slip mat could be provided in a cupboard somewhere?

Number given to obtain door key code never answered,neither from home or on arrival.’The Tower’ kindly neighbours when asked rang an alternative number and the code was obtained. Nice TV had it worked!!

Brilliant location and property had all mod cons and great facilities. Lovely bathroom, clean bedding and fresh fluffy towels. We were close to all amenities and shops, river etc so perfect.

A fold out clothes airer would have been useful as we couldn't use the heated radiators due to it being so warm.

The location of the property was within walking distance to all the amenities and a great base to explore the wider area. There was 5 of us and although small, the apartment did not feel cramped or claustrophobic and was well equipped with everything needed for day to day use and very clean. There is an easy entry system so no worries of misplaced keys.

Perfect location for us right near Elan Valley, the house was so clean, everything you needed, hot tub was amazing , we had the best stay wish it had been longer, will definitely book again.
