Very great location in the center of gaios Super clean facilities Large Balcony with seaview

Beautiful apartment with wonderful host. Great location near the port with supermarket, bar, restaurants and souvenir shops close by. Fully equipped apartment with lovely new bathroom. The hosts were friendly and informative. We would not hesitate to stay again.

Once up the metal spiral staircase there is a good sized balcony. There is a electric winch to help get luggage up and down. The bedroom is a generous size and the bed is comfortable. The owners seemed pleasant.

I only found the room with the help of a lady who lived nearby - the small road to it is unmarked and even at the property the sign is easy to miss. Check-in hours are limited from 3pm to 7pm

The property is located close to the center of Gaios, in less than one minute you can walk to the town's church and the new port where all the taxi boats are. It is placed on the same street with a local supermarket and next to a nice taverna, Taka Taka. The apartment has a spatious terrace, unfortunately due to our short one-night stay we did not have time to enjoy it. The bed was comfortable, though a bit high for me (and empty underneath). The owner was nice, we were allowed to bring our backpacks to the property and leave them there a few hours prior to check-in, so that we could go on a trip to Antipaxos until the evening.

The room did not match the pictures, or better said, it did not match our expectations from the pictures we had seen (with the pink bed sheets). There was a smell of old furniture which was pretty unpleasant, the small kitchen was darker than the rest of the room, and not appealing to be used. The bathroom was quite small and the shower area, too. It had a curtain, but the floor would get wet and slippery in a short time. The boiler needs to be started manually 15 min prior to showering and be turned off before starting to shower. I was aware of the circular small staircase, which was a bit tiring if you are overweight, but not of the steep slope prior to reaching the property from the street. Actually finding the property took us 10 minutes of going in circles, Google maps simply would not show it properly. It should be signaled better on the street where the slope begins, after the restaurant Il Primo. Overall, it did not feel like good value for money. We did island hopping for 8 days in 3 islands and rented 4 properties, including another one in Paxos, but this property was the most expensive and at the same time the most disappointing for us, quality wise.

The view from the apartment balcony is gorgeous. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We needed lot's of mosquito repellent but we anticipated that lol. Overall, the proprietor obviously works hard to make the apartment comfortable and if there was complimentary tea and coffee it would have been perfect. NB the neighbours are amazing!!

It's important to note that there is a very steep hill leading up to the apartment.

I enjoyed my stay at Tereza Apartments. Just a few minutes stroll from the waterfront and main square of Gaios, but on a quiet street, this guesthouse is well-located, with shops and tavernas close by. My apartment was on the top floor of the house, with its own outdoor balcony area, and it was reached by an unusual outdoor spiral staircase. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was spacious and clean. My hosts were helpful, polite and friendly.

Before arrival it was unclear how we were going to get access, as she didn’t answer our question properly, but okay her English might be limited. Upon arrival we were asked to be conscious of energy use. This meant that hot water and electricity for kitchen and bathroom was turned off when not in use. This is all fine with me as I understand energy prices are high. We were also asked not to use the airco when we’re away. Now since it was very hot during our stay and we were leaving the apartment for only a few hours we left the airco on at 27C, to keep the bedroom’s temperature somewhat constant and it not going up high in 30s (or even 40s) and subsequently demanding more energy to cool the room. We closed all the doors and curtains to keep all as cool as possible. When we returned we found a note in our bedroom stating that we “didn’t follow the rules” and that she might have to charge us “extra”. The note continued with a few more lines of passive aggressive text. She had come into the apartment and into our bedroom, which we felt was a bit much. The next day we relaxed in the apartment while we were preparing for a wedding later that day, and again she tried to come in, probably thinking we were out and left the airco on. The next day, the day of our departure she reminded us via text (to which I responded) as well as a visit in person of the check out time. In short, we felt very unwelcome. She never offered any advice as some other people have shared here, and throughout our stay it felt she rather had us gone than present. We had booked another place in Gaios for after the wedding (Romanos) and we had a much better experience there.
