Everything was great personnel and facilities and location far enough from masses but close enough to make it good

Mattress could use a change

the pool was nice,

We chose a room with a King Sized bed because my husband is 6 ft. 4 in. When we got there they told us the room wasn't ready and we could not have the king sized bed room because of air conditioning problems. We had to settle for a room with two queen size beds.

I didn’t have time to enjoy the property but there was a lovely pool and lounging area.

it wasn’t very clean and the sheets were scratchy.

The pool was a nice size and clean, surrounded by lush greenery, it was very relaxing. Breakfast was good, you get a full Costa Rican menu, very tasty! Staff are very helpful, friendly and they try to give you anything you ask for (eg I needed an iron and they got it for me and we needed surfing lessons and we got a great recommendation) The room had a clean and functional kitchen, the Air Con works great, walk with your own soap shampoo etc, the soap they provide is harsh. The room has a storage space behind the bathroom but it’s not sealed off from the bathroom so the musty warehouse smell would bug some people. Putting a window to close the space would improve the space a lot.

The hotel is pet friendly, however a family was there with 2 very annoying dogs that barked at everyone at the breakfast and even lunged at my 8 year old daughter when she went to the juice station. One morning we couldn’t even finish eat our breakfast the dogs were too loud and aggressive. The only reason we chose this hotel is because on the promotional photos on Booking.com we saw a parrot. My son loves parrots and we thought we would see a parrot as the hotel’s mascot….well there was no parrot, instead we saw cats, lots of cats. Cats at the reception, in the corridors of the hotel,in the parking lot, lounging around the pool, in the breakfast area sitting on the tables. And remember those dogs? well it was war at breakfast! dogs constantly yipping at the cats and the cats running crazy everywhere. At night, a cat was outside our room wailing and it sounded like a baby crying… I had to get outta bed and go outside to shoo it away.

The pool area is nice and the person at the reception was helpful and kind. The kitchen is well equipped.

Bed linen was not comfortable and had seen some use as there were quite a few stains. Shower drain drains only slowly. Ceiling and walls are too thin and upstairs guests were moving furniture at night. Internet connection was spotty.

Breakfast was good. Pool looked nice.

Room was weird. Big, but unfinished in half of it, with a strange closet that had a window opening into the bathroom. Kids were in the pool until 10 pm and back in it at 7:15 am so no chance for a quiet swim. Seemed like it had motel rooms, ,with people living there, which was awkward - you had to walk by their room to get in.

I liked the rooms really confortable

Wi fi was terrible worst by far Small Tv for such a large room
