Extra water at arrival. Nice view to the port. Old building beautifully refurbished. Quality of kitchen is high, the staff very kind and patient. The bar 'o curbeiro', two houses to the right is definitely worth a visit! Try tostada with fresh goat cheese and marmelade of green asparagus! Simply delicious!

We liked everything about this hotel - from its harbour-side location and sea views to its cosy bar and excellent seafood restaurant. It was simple and rustic in style but spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. The staff were also very welcoming and patient with our woeful attempts at Spanish! When planning our holiday I agonised over where to stay, but this turned out to be the perfect base for exploring the Costa da Morte. Camarinas itself is small but, like the Puerto Arnela, full of character.

We liked everything! It far exceeded our expectations and was excellent value for money.
