My family absolutely loved staying here and in this community. This location in particular was really nice with the porch and the park nearby. There was live music playing and we could enjoy it from the house. The house is bigger than it looks from the outside. It has everything that you could possibly need except for a highchair. If you're bringing babies, make sure to bring your own. The floors were a bit gnarly and all of our feet were black after a few hours, but I'm not going to hold that against them. 2 minute walk to the pool. 15 minute walk to the beach. 5 minute walk to the kids park. We loved it here. We're definitely going to make it a yearly trip now.

Beachwalk is a fabulous place for vacationing families. We will definitely return. Our home was immaculate, well stocked and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the screened porch . Coffee in the morning and evening drinks .

Friends and I loved the house! Very spacious and the screened in patio is a great place to hang out. Clean and stocked with all the essentials. Would rent again. It’s lit.

This property had all the comforts of home. The house and amenities were all on point. They had live music on Saturday which I thought would be lame, how ever the music really rocked. I wish I could of stayed longer. My only complaint is, don't leave any possessions behind, because the cleaning crew is not honest enough to turn in items. And then when you call the next day to claim such items, you are told "Oh well, happens all the time." So, no I won't be going back after that.

The location was perfect, off the beaten path and yet walking distance to the pool and lake. There were 14 of us and there was plenty of room for all. We loved the screened in porch and the backyard area with grill and fire pit! We spent a couple of days at Lake Michigan and enjoyed the spectacular sunsets!

We had a wonderful experience and hope to return next year. We will, however, reserve a golf cart ahead of time. I called a week prior to check in and was told there would be plenty of golf carts upon our arrival......but there weren't! We stopped in every day to ask about availability, even for one day but none available. It's hard when the kids are looking forward to one. Lesson learned but disappointing. A beach umbrella would have been nice.

Everything was clean and the gathering areas were spacious. The only recommendations to the property would be to include a golf cart (which wasn’t available to rent everyday) and maybe put string lights in the back by fire pit so you can see better. The wagons to pull down to the beach came in handy! The screened in porch was great and so was the fire pit. We could not get the fireplace inside the house to work. We called about it and maintenance was suppose to come fix it but I don't think anyone ever came. Also, there was some left over food from the people before us as well, but overall I would come back with couples, girls, or my children. It would be wonderful for all.

We would have booked it next year, but we needed a Friday or Sunday turn around. We booked a different unit a block away. Outdoor shower was outstanding pus. Owner should be aware that the grill took an extremely long time to heat, and did not reach desired temp. Clothes dryer worked, but much longer than normal time required. We used to own a condo at stop 2, love the area.

Coastal Charm is well designed for multi-age occupancy, well maintained and in a very convenient location. Our one maintenance need, a minor leak under the kitchen sink, was promptly attended to. Plenty of indoor/outdoor space for individual or group activities. 2 wagons and outdoor shower enhanced our many trips to and from the beach. Great choice for a group of up to 17.

The house was great for 15 people. Plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms. My only tiny complaint would be about the couches. Both in the living room and bunk room, the couches were worn out. However, the location was perfect, close to pool and small park. The place was clean . I would totally recommend this property to friends.

We didn't need it, but I don't know how anyone could have slept on it! I didn't bother pulling out the sleeper in the living room, but shutter to think what that one might have looked like! Otherwise, the house was perfect, plenty of room and space. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with anything needed, loved the space that "cooks" were not underfoot.

The complex was packed out and perhaps it was the week before. The trash bins were everywhere and already overflowing when we arrived on Saturday. They would not be emptied until the following Friday. Walking the compound was a smelly and unattractive experience. The rental property was nice but worn...slip covers on furniture were dirty and threadbare. We were barefoot in the house for 30 minutes and the soles of our feet were black. We had a few maintenance issues. We like Beachwalk for it's family friendly environment but this year it fell short on overall cleanliness.

One of the moms said the community reminded her of Key West. Since the homes are close together, I was a little concerned about privacy, but it wasn't a problem with Coastal Charm. We were there mid-June which may be why several homes were unoccupied during the week. Coastal Charm is located on a dead end with a school on one side with a parking area between it and school and a small vacant lot area on other side. It's on a corner - dead end in front and a small open area lot on other with natural sea grass and other plants and natural growth (weeds?) in the sand adjacent to the very large deck. The wrap around screened in porch in front is great with table seating for 12 and furniture for 4 more. Parking at our home was ample-we had 2 trucks, 3 cars and 2 motorcycles, one with a trailer parked easily. I gave maintenance only 4 stars because the coffee maker did not work, luckily I had brought lots if k cups since a Keurig was listed. There would have been some pretty unhappy folks if we woke up to no coffee! We had expected to use the coffee maker also, with such a large group. There's also 3 reusable fill your own k cups there. Second reason for 4 star maintenance is the grill. The catch pan under the burners had not been cleaned, looked like never cleaned. It wasn't heating well so my son checked it out and found 2-3 inches if gunk i.e. Drippings stuck to it-Disgusting. My steaks wouldn't have tasted good if he hadn't taken care if it. The kitchen is well supplied with all equipment you'd need to fix even a gourmet meal, even Margarita glasses! Short walk to pool and beach on Lake Michigan. Loved the house, loved the vacation.
