Very nice and well furnished apartment close to the city center of El medano. With a perfect spot for who loves surfing. Easy also to find a parking spot for the car The staff was very kind and welcoming

The apartment unfortunately wasn't very clean, a lot of the dishes and cups were very grease. And when the wind was blowing there was a lot of noise and was hard to sleep.

saying this is sea view is disingenuous. you have to sit right by the window and at an angle to see it past the camper van car park across the road. The selection of dishes and glasses was very poor. not even a wine glass. and yes had to buy washing powder and washing up liquid etc etc. the sofa bed was unbelievably uncomfortable as either a bed or a sofa. My back is glad to be home. the shower never gets hot and shower head isn’t properly secured to the wall. €5 shower curtain which won’t stay up and too long so swamps and blocks the bath. towels supplied were torn rags. coffee machine supplied with wrong pods. wrong Wi-Fi code written on a sign. no light in access corridor (scared my three year old). pool closed (main reason for booking) but found the owner evasive about this leading up to stay (meaning no option for free cancellation as time had expired). cheap but very poor and having stayed in lots of flats in Médano would never recommend as felt conned and disappointed in myself that I put my family through it.

Location is excellent! Very close to the beach and also very quiet at night.. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and had everything I needed.

There was Nothing that I didnt like ! But I guess a few glasses would be handy and a fan for the hot nights!

The property was nice and clean, equipped with all the needed stuff. Also, in a good location with a nice view of the sea from the window.

Communication with the host. We had to wait a bit at check-in for delay in emails (I wasn't provided with a phone number) but overall that was fine. What I really didn't like was the behaviour when we had to leave the accommodation after only 3 days (we were booked for 7 nights) due to a family emergency. I emailed to communicate this and asking if it was possible to get any partial refund (due to the circumstances, it would have been a good gesture). I obviously can't demand this, it is to the discretion and heart of the host that, not only showed very little compassion offering, after uncountable emails, only €20 for late check out we paid cash on arrival and 15% discount on next booking defined by him a "social rate" whatever that means, don't think 15%is a particularly generous offer. What I found extremely annoying was the trying to blame Bookings for not been able to refund anything as we booked through them (this is untrue of course. The lady from Bookings that called me told me they were happy to waive their fees to allow some refund for us). As said, I know refunds in those cases are not compulsory, but giving us more grieve and stress through untrue messages was something we really didn't need not expected to have.
