Fine location for visiting Lourdes and surroundings. A kind and hospitable host, who is happy to share information about what to do and where to go. Fine breakfast. We had ensuite accommodation with little kitchenette for anyone who want to cook some small meal. Just over half an hour walk from Lourdes or 5 minutes by car. Safe free parking on own premises.

Accommodation is situated close to the road, the noise of which might trouble some. Especially if you have the windows open because of the heat.

Silence, fresh air

The breakfast was delicious. Every day we got absolutely amazing homemade jams, yoghurts, fruits and pastry. The host was very kind and helpful.

We would appreciate the door instead of curtain at the entry to the appartement :-)

Home made breakfast jams with a delivery of fresh bread and fruits into you kitchen every morning. Quiet neighbourhood, easily accessible by car, friendly and welcoming host.... and much more... all that making it a place to return.

The breakfast was a traditional continental breakfast served on a trolley to our room. The jam was amazing - all home made using different fruits grown on the property - we even bought a jar to bring home. The property is set in beautiful surroundings - it was lovely to sit outside on the patio in the evening, it is very quiet - even though it is on a main road and next to a farm. The gardens of the property were beautiful - lovely flowers and all well kept. You do need a car to get there though - it is quite a walk from Lourdes.

Access to a fridge and a kitchen from the room called pirion. There was also a lot of flies around but we did use some flyspray every night to get rid of them. Clarify with Jean which room you have and whether you have access to the kitchen as only one of his rooms does. Contact him to check this before you book. Think there is a miscommunication of the booking.com site over the kitchen - the host is very clear about what he is offering but we did have a misunderstanding over the kitchen. This was sorted out by the host contacting booking.com

Clean and quiet.

Toilet and (separate) shower outside the bedroom was not ideal. And the bedroom door squeaked.
