8 flights of stairs to get to the apartment The Internet didn't work on any of our devices. The rooms aren't fully walled off so we could hear everything. Info says the apartment is for upto 7 people. There was 4 adults in our party, anymore would have been squashed. But it was OK for the length of time we were there for what we paid. I emailed asking for a later check out 3 days in advance but by the time they replied check out time had already passed.

this booking is a scam. the location was a building site. we arrived in only to see a load of construction equipment in the foyer and the entire building under renovation. the “reception” was a random apartment block down he road where no reception existed either. we could not get in touch with the host and ended up having to book into a hostel due to the lack of response.

the only good thing was the location but we had an issue we lost 2 t-shirts and the property manager didn’t take responsibility about it and wasn’t really polite on communication

The only good thing was the price as it was good value for money. We believe we wasn’t put in the property we paid for as we didn’t have a balcony or view as stated and it wasn’t a few minutes walk from the main square it was a good 20 minute walk well over a mile, the apartment was on the 4th floor with 104 steps to the top with no lift and one of our party does have mobility issues I did message to ask about the apartment but never received a response.

Nice and clean apartment close to the city center. We had a comfortable stay.

Wifi was slow and kept disconnecting. Not directly related to the apartment but we had problems with parking space. To pay via app you need a Polish sim card which you need to register at the salon with your ID and in the end that app wasn't even working properly. Otherwise you need a lot of coins for a parking machine, and no one wants to exchange you that many coins.. We finally found a private payed parking lot nearby.

The facilities were great, as expected. The room was warm, clean and had all that was needed. The location was great with many restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The communication was seemingly good at first, but there were a few points that could have been clarified more. The airport pickup was great as I was arriving late at night.

The staff who met me was not very friendly. While I understand his frustration as my flight landed late and so I arrived to the property just after midnight, it was a bit of a rude arrival. The property does mention a penalty fee (which I was charged) if you arrive after midnight. What was not mentioned is that this fee is applicable, even when it was communicated that my driver will assist with my check-in. It was mentioned on Booking.com that the property handles payment. Was not mentioned is that there is an option for payment to be managed by Booking.com in order for the property to leave the key and for me to avoid the late penalty. While it was a good stay overall, arriving less than 10min after the cutoff time (even though they knew my flight times) and being met with a penalty fee that could have been avoided if communicated correctly was frustrating.

4th floor No elevator, Check In

Check in is not good. We arrived after dark and had to walk down 500 or 600 metres to find the Reception to get our keys. We had been traveling all day and had to leave our luggage in the street as I had no idea how far down the office was. I was under impression I was to pay cash on arrival but my credit card had already been swiped. There is no lift so we had to drag our cases up two flights of steps. Also the unit was very stuffy without any air conditioning. I think it's practical to have a kitchen cloth or tea towel if you have kitchen facilities. Also one roll of toilet paper was all that was left there and it wasn't a new roll....I probably would not stay here again or recommend it to friends.

The apartment was suitable for our needs. It was ideal that there was a sofa bed which allowed two seperate sleeping areas. The apartments on the back of the block face onto a quiet courtyard so it was lovely to have the windows open without fear of being invaded by noisy street traffic. We did request additional bedding as I didn't wish to climb the cupboard steps and my son preferred that space. Bedding was brought same day while we were out enjoying the sights of Krakow. The apartment is about a 10 minute walk into Old Town. There was a shop just a short walk which sold general groceries and alcohol. Lots of eating establishments were a short walk away. We didn't use the tram or the buses.

There was a funky smell in the bathroom which we reported to Cracow Rent Apartments. They did try to resolve the problem and on our final night offered us an alternative apartment. However due to us being out for the whole day we were too tired to move to another apartment. There wasn't a toaster or a microwave in the apartment which if you wanted more than cereal then it would be a problem. We stayed in Apartment 13 which is a masionette I.e. it had an area accessible by steps which also formed the cupboards. This is not ideal for anyone who has had a few to drink, infirm or very young as the steps did not have a guard rail.
