The location was perfect and the host could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Truly we had an amazing week. I normally never write reviews but this time I had to.

This property was perfect for our family of 4. The kids loved the bunk room. There was a shady spot to sit or lay at all points of the day thanks to all the chairs, loungers, benches, and hammock. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed including scissors and lighter sticks. Plenty of towels for the beach and even some inner tubes the kids played in. The family can’t be nicer and it was great hearing how generations have grown up spending time there making memories. We are so appreciative that they allowed us to make our own memories to add to the history of the house.

Amazing stay. Everything was perfect. Couldn’t ask for a better location. House was well stocked, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Golf cart was a huge plus. Owners communication was top notch. They arranged transportation and even picked up a special bottle of bubbles for me to celebrate with my wife when we arrived. Couldn’t be more thankful that they offer this amazing property and experience. Can’t wait to go back!

Very relaxing stay in Spanish Wells. Property is on the beach and within walking distance to grocery and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

This property is fantastic! The home is super comfortable and fully stocked with everything you may need as if you were at home. The owners/family are so nice and kept in contact with us or stopped by to check in to see if we needed anything. Our favorite part was of course being right on the beach. It is incredible! The sandbar is right out there so walks were a must. I personally enjoyed taking photos of each morning sunrise. Gorgeous! The golf cart was a great addition to explore the two islands. This was our second year on the island and we are so glad we found this beautiful property. We had an amazing time and great weather. We hope to be back again and would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your property with us so we can have a piece of paradise for a short time.

We came to relax and unwind. This was the perfect spot! The beach and the water views were amazing! The location near Eagles Landing and the grocery store was very handy. Having a golf cart, kayaks and bikes was an added bonus. Everyone on the island was very friendly. A special thank you to Bonnie and Daphne and Ray…your kind hospitality was second to none!

First, I’ve stayed at many VRBOs, and these hosts were the best I’ve dealt with. They made everything easy and stress-free. I was especially grateful for the transportation arrangements they made to get us from the airport to the property (and back again). Upon arrival at the island by ferry, the owner Bonnie was there to greet us and gave us a quick tour of the island to get us oriented before we got to the cottage itself. The property itself is in the perfect location on the island: in the center of the fabulous beach and steps away from the main grocery store. Having the golf cart available for use was crucial and made it so easy to get around the island. Kayaks and paddle boards are provided for fun on the water. The cottage has everything you could need for your stay and was perfect for our family of four. 5 star hosts and 5 star cottage!

We had a great week here. The weather was less than favorable, but the beach made it worth it- even wrapped up in a blanket!

This was our 6th time visiting Spanish Wells and this location on the beach can’t be beat! The cottage was cozy and comfortable and we enjoyed the morning walks, afternoon swims and evening sunsets on the beach just 5 steps from the door! Both Bonnie and Torin were fantastic to communicate with and able to help answer any questions we had. During our visit, they even shared with us some of the special activities happening on the island during the Christmas holidays. The kitchen was well-stocked, lots of beach towels and the king bed was extremely comfortable. Bonnie even shared with us the plans for a few renovations which would help with adding extra privacy off the master bedroom. Thank you for everything and we will be sure to return!

We stayed the week of Thanksgiving. This place is beautiful. So we'll stocked. Had kayaks, chairs on the beach. It was amazing. Definitely be back.

This was our 2nd visit to this property and it was perfect until we had to say goodbye. Kalin met us with the golf cart on arrival and Bonnie, Daphne and Ray took excellent care of us during our stay. The house has everything to make the stay enjoyable. You will not be disappointed renting this home. One of the best locations with the beach at your door. Can’t wait to return!!

From the moment we pulled up to the property we knew we were in for a treat for our week-long vacation. Everything you would need for enjoying the optimal beach location is there - kayaks, paddleboard, floats and rafts, and an abundance of beach towels just inside the door from the patio so you don't have to worry about tracking sand throughout. The cottage is laid out nicely and the kitchen well-stocked with supplies. Location is perfect. For any necessities, located right behind the large grocery store. For relaxation, just steps away from the sandbar at low tide. I enjoyed paddling out to it in the mornings with my coffee. You have every option you would want for relaxing - whether it's staying cozy inside, or soaking in some fresh air. Inside has a very comfy recliner and couch. Outside is a hammock, picnic tables, and several adirondack chairs for guest use, and of course I need to again mention the sandbar. Our hosts were wonderful - from offering to arrange transportation, meeting us to ensure we got to the cottage with no issues, and dropping by to check and make sure everything was ok. We are already looking forward to planning another Spanish Wells trip and would absolutely stay here again.

We have been cruising in the Bahamas since 1960. This was our first extended stay ( 2 weeks ) on Spanish Wells. Great visit. The beach front cottage was well located, well equipped and comfortable. The Roberts were very gracious hosts. - Pinder taxi/ferry took us round trip from the airport to the SW dock. - gas powered golf cart got is around. - large grocery was within walking distance. Good services. - long sandbar and large tidal pool out front were great for walking and swimming. Several kite boarders were out on windy days. - the Sand Bar out on Russell Island is worth the drive. We hope to make a return visit.

We came to Spanish Wells to relax and unwind on the beach and that is exactly what we got! This was the perfect property to unwind. Daphne was a wonderful host. She arranged all transportation to and from the house. She met us at the ferry and gave us a tour of the island and then brought us to the house. She went out of her way to make sure our trip was perfect and we had everything we needed. We can not wait to come back to visit this amazing place!

Daphne was a delight to work with. All questions were immediately answered and she was most flexible and obliging. On the way home in the plane my wife and I were making plans to return next spring

What a gem. A very comfortable, well appointed cottage. The accommodations outside were just as plentiful and comfortable as on the inside. Plenty of comfortable chairs and space. Wonderful shade for when needed and we saw tons of hummingbirds flittering above when we weren’t enjoying the look and sounds of the waves.

Everything is so good! We would give 6 stars if we could. The location is perfect! Central to everywhere. The view is spectacular. Our host made all the arrangements for our local transportation. She brought us very nice treats and very friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend this place and hope to rent again!

Wonderful experience. The changing tides allow daily walks on sandbar, beach walks in either direction offer chances to see sea stars, rays, fish, and more. Quiet, peaceful, and perfect for a couple or small family to enjoy. Host and family generous and kind, and are helpful to any needs that arise. Thank you for sharing this cottage with others to experience.

Spanish Wells is a fabulous place to visit and the house is in a perfect location. Absolutely lovely.

This is our 2nd time staying at Paradise Cottage and we had a great time! Even with all of the hoops we had to jump through to get there with the pandemic and all, it was an awesome time! The ever changing color of the water and the huge sandbar were as amazing as the first time we went in 2018. CANT say enough about the owners and how hospitable and kind they are. The hosts were amazing, definitely the best we ever had! They arranged our ferry for arrival and departure, picked us up from ferry, took us on a quick tour of island, brought us fresh mangoes, lobster tail, crab claws, and the provided golf cart was very necessary for getting around! Kayaks, grill, well stocked kitchen, comfy king bed, private beach front, great location. We came here on our babymoon and can’t wait to bring our little girl back with us next time!!!

From the moment we got off the plane to the island this trip was the best. Daphne met us at the docks to take us to our beautiful beach house for our stay. We had some of the best food (lobster tails, tuna, grouper, coconuts) all thanks to daphne , ray, and our neighbors. We met so many nice people and had a very relaxing vacation. The house was clean and had plenty of towels and accessories for daily doings. Washing and dryer were a sweet bonus. The grocery store is a short walk or very short golf cart ride. The beach itself was amazing. You could walk out for what seemed like a mile at low tide ( great for kids). Overall paradise beach cottage was everything we needed and everybody in our group loved it! Kalin was also very easy to communicate and book through, all questions were answered in a timely manner.

This place is in the best location on the beach and has everything you need for your stay. Owners are very nice and responsive checking to ensure you have everything you need. Definitely recommend!

We had the most amazing 9 nights staying in the Paradise Beach Cottage!! Thanks to the entire family for being the best hosts! Ray and Daphne showed us around the island and treated us to so many local foods and snacks. We felt like we hit the lottery finding this house with this amazing group of hosts. During our last day there we didn't want to leave! We can't wait to visit again! The house was absolutely perfect for our family and there were so many shops within walking distance. The house had everything and even more than we needed including spices in the cabinets and all the necessary items to start out vacation. They thought of everything when stocking this house. They helped us find where to get COVID tests completed and showed us local spots visitors like to visit. The beach itself has a sandbar out in front of it so it was easy to do activities like paddle boarding and kayaking. They made it a breeze to rent and while I wish we could keep it a secret, I want others to have the same amazing time we did. Thank you so much again Daphne, Ray, Bonnie, Tony and Kalin!!!

We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. House is small but clean and comfortable. The bunk beds in second bedroom were good for our two small kids. Location of the house is excellent, right on the gorgeous beach and cross the street from the grocery store and a restaurant that has great desserts. We walked or took golf cart. Grocery store is the biggest on the islands and well stocked. It was great that House comes with a golf cart which is essential for the island. The weather, just for few days, was windy so we couldn’t be much on the beach or swim, however we still enjoyed walks and riding the golf cart around the island. There were no sand fleas, so that was great, we were told owner sprayed the beach and it was low season for them anyway. There were hardly any people on the beach. Kayaks that came with the house were great and we used them a lot. There is washer and dryer in the house too. The island is quiet and charming, has few restaurants. We had couple boat tours, and they were the highlights of our trip, totally worth it. Owners were super nice and stopped by few times to bring treats (lobster, fritters) and check on us. We would get fresh catch almost daily from local fisherman, Bernard’s dock. Overall, great stay and gorgeous water! The beach is actually great for little kids, very shallow and calm for miles, with huge sandbar that comes daily at low tide. It was fun for our kids to kayak to it or swim or walk to it. We loved it.

Paradise Beach Cottage was wonderful. Not fancy but who needs that! Clean and VERY well appointed, plenty of towels, pots, pans etc. The location of the cottage and view CANNOT be beat! Daphne and Kalin where helpful and accommodating especially navigating COVID 19. Golf cart provided to zip around the island and is more then enough to see Spanish Wells. If you are looking for peace and serenity you can find it Paradise Beach Cottage!
