Absolutely charming inside and out, lovely garden and in a great location. Five minute walk to the beach, about 5-10 pretty walk to restaurants

The house and our room was very nice and comfortable.
Too small of a bathroom. Hard to manage. Locating outlets was a challenge since I had to crawl around on the floor.

Staff couldn't be more accommodating or helpful. Have stayed before, lovely large comfy bed with a smart on-suite. One of us had breakfast this time (not enough time) and they commented how good it was! I didn't go hungry, as there were some delicious cookies in the room...that helped. Moved away many years ago but can tell you this accommodation is to be found within a well maintained period property that has been sympathetically renovated to a high standard. Conveniently located in a very good part of town with similar buildings and on street parking, the B&B provided a parking ticket. It's in a perfect location, a couple of minutes into town and Ayr beach is close by. Definately recommend the accommodation!
Slightly early check out 10.30 after a night out! Black out blinds in the rooms would really help, very bright.....

Breakfast is excellent.
Beds comfy, great toiletries and amenities.
The only thing I would say is the signage outside could be bolder, everything else is excellent

Location was great, far enough from the centre, but near enough if you wanted to go there.
Guesthouse and staff were excellent. Best breakfast I've had in a long time anywhere.

What a find! Beautiful period house and decor (elegant and tasteful), comfortable room and bed, excellent and plentiful breakfast. Great owner and staff. Perfect location for attractions and amenities. The Lochinver is great value for money and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Ayr. I look forward to staying there again, and that cannot be soon enough. Thank you for your warm welcome and stay.

Very close to train station and Gaeity Theatre. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Had a great night’s sleep. Nice quiet street. Made to feel very welcome on arrival and nothing was too much bother. The cooked breakfast was really tasty and there were so many ‘continental’ choices, all beautifully presented. Would highly recommend, and would not hesitate to stay here if I ever needed somewhere to stay in Ayr again.
Maybe the times for breakfast could be extended until 10.00/10.30 am at the weekends?

Lovely, well equipped rooms, with free toiletries, hairdryer & iron in room. Nice touches like free cookies , owners were very welcoming and were eager to assist. Delicious breakfast with so many options.

Whole house was beautiful. Our room was beautifully decorated and immaculate. Huge comfortable bed. Great night's sleep. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful with great choices. Staff were pleasant attentive and friendly.
