The property is located a short 7 minute flat walk to the beach and is secluded off a quiet street in a lovely and relaxing leafy environment. There was a fire place in the lounge and main bedroom which provided ambiance, with plenty of firewood and additional portable heating should you so require. The two double rooms were equally proportioned and included front deck access, with an additional third smaller single room with rear deck access that would be suitable for a child or adult if required. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils one would need and included salt, pepper, oil, spices, glad wrap etc. There was a BBQ and table setting on the back deck; however, the heavy rain we experienced during our stay prevented use of these facilities. The host was very accommodating to our needs including extra firewood, an additional nights stay and a late checkout which would obviously be subject availability.

The front and back decks did not have an awning to protect from rain. There is only one bathroom which we already knew at the time of booking; although there is a separate toilet located outside.

The perfect place to getaway. The bed was comfortable and the house was clean. I loved the location. It was a beautiful walk to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace. It was great to feel warm and cosy as we watched a movie. It was great to use the kitchen and cook a meal. It had everything we needed. I loved this place and I highly recommend staying here. 😊

It was a pretty little house and the furnishings were lovely. The location was great.

The driveway is just non negotiable. It was horrendous and nearly took the under carriage of the car off. Wasn’t told about this until we were there which is too late! Appreciate that you are struggling to get wifi in but in this day and age again but it is what people want. I’m convinced it said there was wifi at time of booking as I wouldn’t have booked without. The bbq was absolutely filthy and unusable. My daughter was in a more modern home with far more facilities that was the same price so price wise this is not value for money. The horrendous driveway and having to lug luggage up and down a steep slope (we were in the area for my daughters wedding) once we realised our cars exhaust was in jeopardy and the dirty bbq contributed to the feeling that the top dollar price tag was not warranted.
