Very calming, outstanding views, very quiet and the breakfast is best in class for a B&B truly outdone with breakfast brought out to the cottage for you to enjoy.

The view from our room took our breath away — Apart from the gorgeous village and areas around Dorset, coming back to our room was the best part of our day. We sat on the balcony, could hear the river run, birds sing and cows in the distance. If I could stay here for a week it wouldn’t be enough. The bathroom is modern and the heated towel racks is a nice touch. (Also 10/10 delicious breakfast to look forward to in the morning).
What a hidden sanctuary — thank you for having us Nikki! Can’t wait to be back.

Amazing setting, just beautiful right on the bank of the River Frome. Fantastic wide deck with large mirrored sliding doors to look out on the countryside and view the birds and sheep feeding.

the property was beautiful, even during the cold stay! the owner put the fire place on and it was just the most amazing feeling! the bath tub in the king room was amazing too! would definitely recommend.

Lovely, modern, spacious, well appointed room with separate entrance and large private balcony overlooking a small babbling river. Pristinely clean. The proprietor is an incredibly lovely, cool person: provided fabulous local recommendations when asked, delicious cooked full English breakfast and cereals and fruit. The surrounding landscape is bucolic, serenely peaceful. The night sky is stunning.

Beautiful location, off the beaten track but close to good road links. Lovely private room with balcony. Modern but cosy. Excellent cooked breakfast plus fruit and cereal. Friendly, efficient hostess.

Stayed for 2 nights at this amazing B&B. Nestled in a very quaint Dorset village, with a little stream flowing past, overlooking green farmlands, it is paradise.
The guest unit we stayed in is separated from the main house. Fitted with all conveniences and well heated. Very comfortable large bed. Our host Nikki, made sure everything was ok. Breakfast was excellent.

The location was very handy for exploring Dorset. Having breakfast brought to our room was a nice touch. The vegan breakfasts were imaginative, nutritious and delicious. The views across the water meadow were wonderful.
At certain times of day you can hear road noise from the A37, but you can't hear it from inside the (Waterside) room.

Great accommodation with a beautiful view of the river and fields and a lovely decking area to enjoy the relaxing surroundings. The host was extremely helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was very good, private parking very convenient.
I would recommend and would certainly stay here again.

The house had a comfortable welcoming atmosphere, nice people, warm welcome and the breakfast very tasty.

Everything absolutely perfect. House, location, calm and quiet. But the absolute cherry on the top are the hosts. Nicky and Fraser are so nice, friendly and attentive to details you feel more family than being a paying guest. All that is so wonderful about BnBs can be found here in one magical place.

The room was modern and well thought-out. The view was simply stunning. When we arrived, Nikki showed us in and showed us the kingfisher that sits on the balcony. It was just beautiful. Breakfast delivered to the room in the morning was excellent. As we were in a separate building, it felt very private and not like a B&B at all.
