You need to have a car to get to anywhere, if you do, it can be much better than the hassles of parking in Syracuse. Plemmirio is a nice but not very lively little village in October, however it's a great starting point for explorations in Sicily. The villa has an amazing huge garden and terrace with a spectacular view. Interior is a bit outdated but functional, with one smaller and one big room and a living room. Beaches close nearby. The host is prompt, friendly and very informative.

The interior of the house is a bit outdated and if you don't have a car it's impossible to reach anywhere. Few shops nearby (actually one). Nothing to do in Plemmirio besides going to the beach or walking around.

The house is beautiful with a great big terrace in front of it. It’s so calm that in the morning you can only hear birds chirping. You’re surrounded by nature. I was looking for quiet place where I can work and relax away from busy towns and this was the perfect choice. I spent a perfect week there and wish I could have stayed more. Moreover, Francesco is a perfect host. A very welcoming person, gave me some nice recommendations on food and wine. He was always available for any questions. Since I also had to work from here it was important to have a good internet connection and I was happy to see the house is connect vis fiber optics, so on the WiFi I had more then 500 Mb/s speed which was amazing.

There’s nothing really I didn’t like. Maybe only the kitchen could use a bit of an upgrade, but it’s not a big thing.

The location is superb and the views from the covered terrace are unbetable. The place is very quiet, surrounded by the beauty of a nature reserve. A mesmerising sea is 5 minute walk away. At night you can also admire amazing starry skies. You need car though to move around. Highly recommended!

Very nice and comfortable villa located in a quiet area about 20 minutes by car from Siracusa center and Ortigia. Plemmirio is a protected marine area where you can enjoy stunning views to the sea and nature. You can relax and enjoy beautiful view while sitting on the terrace; and observe stars at night from the terrace on the roof :-). The villa is large and equiped all you need during your stay. WiFi connection is perfect (what was very important for our kids). Francesco (the owner) is helpful and kind; he gave us some recommendations where to eat and what to see. We arrived in the morning and could have earlier check-in what was really important to us after tiring journey. We were in Plemmirio in February and the weather was ideal for sightseeing and walking on the coast.

some equipment in the kitchen needs improvement or refershment, but this is not real issue
