Best place for a huge group!! This place was absolutely amazing, it fit all 27 of us with plenty of room for everyone!! We had unfortunate luck with the cold weather but still had a blast. Thank you Monica for being so responsive! Everyone was so impressed with the property. The games in the garage were awesome too.

We just did a weekend moms getaway for 15 ladies aged mid 20s to mid 60s. Everyone LOVED the home. It's ideal for gatherings. The space is laid out very thoughtfully. Full size bunks in 3 rooms & bathrooms divided so multiple people can use them at the same time! The home was clean & well stocked. The pool was heated for us at a charge and we made great use of the hot tub, fire pit, kayaks, game room & paddleboards. The Property Manager, Monica, & her team were very communicative and willing to help.They were available during the stay,quickly responded to our questions and even delivered a meal! We had a really great, relaxing weekend. Being able to just go sit down the water and read a book or be inside to watch football.. there were options for everyone's different tastes. To make the house perfect, a couple of suggestions: Window treatments, especially for top bunks in the bedrooms and the bunk room. It gets so bright so early. The option to pull down a shade or close a curtain would be helpful. Also, a pocket door or some type of optional barrier for the bunk room. If you are trying to sleep and anyone is in the main area of the house, the sound echoes through the bunk room. Having the option to even dampen the noise would be wonderful. Lastly, an additional fridge or freezer. 30 people trying to fit everything into 2 fridges ran a bit tight. Maybe a fridge option outside by the pool :) We truly had a wonderful time and look forward to returning!

This is the second time we have rented this house for our annual golf trip. It is perfect for our big group. Management was always immediately responsive as well.

It was our 20th year to have a Girls’ Weekend with Moms, daughters, aunts and cousins and this was the most accommodating house we have stayed in. The house is gorgeous, spacious and comfortable. The outdoor area actually had enough seating for everyone and was a favorite spot for the weekend! Check-In and check-out were both super easy. We absolutely loved this place, all 27 of us!

Lazy Haven was an excellent stay for our family of 19. The house provided great space for our group and was located on a quiet cove with access to the Colorado River. The house itself is unbeatable. Richard (host/builder/great communicator) thought of all details that my family was quick to point out and appreciate. (Ice machine - huge hit; path lighting to the water at night; smart lighting in bathrooms; living room where everyone could sit; plenty of seating; lights and usb chargers in the bunks; paddle boards and kayaks provided). A few notable things that aren’t a knock on the property but FYIs: the water level in the cove looks to be about 5.5ft deep and the bottom is covered with algae so we didn’t swim but did use the water toys. It also takes some time to get out of the cove into the main body of water. If someone left something sweet unattended near the pool, there were swarms of bees. Unsure if the garage had AC but it was quite pleasant to play ping pong and air hockey considering the TX heat. It is wonderful communicating with the home owner vs a management property.

Our group ranged in age from 4 to 74. Everyone had a great time. The pool and patio area were fantastic. We had two fishermen in the group who caught several nice catfish. We made use of most of the water toys in the lake as well as the pool. There were only 13 in our group who could make it this year, so it was super spacious. Great open entertaining space inside and out. This house is as advertised. We loved it!

The Lazy Haven was the most perfect house for our annual family vacation. The house was so clean and the amenities were great! We absolutely loved it and will definitely be returning!

House, pool & Richard were great!!! Our group was not thrilled about the LOW bridge to access the open part of the lake, not to mention all of the moss growing in & around it.

Great house, filled all our needs for a relaxing trip.

Very nice, roomy and clean

Host is fast and informative with any and all inquiries. This is our 4th time to stay in this wonderful property. The kids loved having the pool and spa but it also comes with kayaks and paddle boards. A wonderful fire pit to do s’mores! Kitchen is well equipped with anything you need. Home is always well maintained. We rent jet skis and a pontoon form Splash rentals which is close by. We will continue ie to come back.

2nd year we have had our annual family reunion here. We love the location, facility, pool, hot tub and availability of poolside volleyball.

This property is fantastic for a family reunion or large group gathering. Richard is very easy to contact and responds quickly to questions.

Just spent an awesome four days with my five siblings and our kids and our mom. First family vacation since my dad passed. Property owner was so helpful. Microwave went out and he brought one within an hour. Great amenities. House was fully furnished with everything we needed. Great memories were made.

I really don’t know where to begin. We have been staying in lake houses through VRBO for over 20 years, but none of them was more equipped than this one. It literally has everything you need. The house is amazing, the location is perfect and Richard is a great host/owner. We had 24 in our family on this vacation ranging in age from 1 to 68 and everyone raves about it. Ok the 1 year old didn’t say much but that’s only because he isn’t talking yet. But he definitely had fun as we all did. Would definitely again.

This was our annual family vacation and the house was perfect. Just as described and more. My family really enjoyed the pool and having beautiful weather was bonus. Loved the large ice maker that was used continuously. Definately would stay again and recommend this house to friends for sure.

This house has it all, the layout of the bedrooms to the location along the canal really is top notch. Everything worked perfectly and the quality of the house made our friends trip absolutely perfect. Would recommend this to anyone!

We had an amazing time at Lazy Haven. Loved that we were so close parks, the lane and wineries. The house is much larger than the pictures show with ample space to spread out.

Our second time having a reunion at this location. Plenty of sleeping space and room for activities. We used the pool again to play water volleyball. Would absolutely recommend this property for large groups!

We had about 6-7 families here and we felt very comfortable. The open spaces are excellent. Took advantage of the game room and the kayaks and paddle boat. It’s also very beautiful outside at night. Had a great time!

The house was everything it promised to be! We had a large group- 10 adults and 8 kids and plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. The pool was exquisite and so were the views.

Perfect place for 14 people. Everyone had a comfortable bed and lots of space to spread out and socialize. Beautiful house and property. We’ll definitely consider staying here again in the future.

We did enjoy a lot with our family

Our stay was exceptionally amazing. The amenities were beyond our expectations. Every one of our family members were impressed at how beautiful the property is. Most of our stay was spent around the kitchen island and the surround sound throughout the house was so amazing! We will definitely be back!

Our second stay at lazy haven was excellent. Great beds for 16 guests, and the kitchen and grill had us fully set for the long weekend.

Amazing view, gorgeous home! Perfect for our friends’ reunion with our spouses and children. We paid to heat the pool and it was absolutely hands downs our favorite part of the vacation. We were thrilled with pool volleyball in December, followed by the hot tub and fire pit. The kitchen is well-stocked and there are two available coffee makers for several guests to enjoy their hot cup of coffee at the same time—a small detail I appreciated.

The house was perfect for our extended family of 22, ages 12-80. Plenty of bedrooms and beds and bathrooms for everyone to feel comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and there was an extra fridge in the garage that was so helpful. The kids loved playing in the garage/gameroom. Several people enjoyed the hot tub and a couple of brave adults plunged in the chilly pool! Richard was very responsive with any questions we had. Because of all the rain over those few days, we stayed at the house a lot. It got a little loud with 22 people visiting. It might help to have a few other area rugs to dampen the noise. Otherwise, a great trip for all of us!

PHENOMENAL is the word to describe this amazing water view home. The cleanliness was amazing, the hot tub was perfect on cold nights, and the amount of space was more than enough. I would definitely recommend this to anyone - and I'd love to book again for future stays. Thanks!

It was beautiful in every way!! Our ministry team had a retreat and everyone was so very impressed by the house. It provided a place of rest and pampering!
