Host was easy to reach. Property was well stocked. Location was excellent. Really close to kings beach, shopping and supermarket. Will most definitely book again.

This place was older and not very well kept. In the bedroom I stayed in, the screen didn’t work so there were many bugs, mattress looked like a hammock because it was SO worn down, and there was only one pillowcase provided (and 3 scratchy shams). The biggest issue my family and I personally had was the downstairs smells like cats (which they tried to mask with air fresheners but didn’t work), and my father has terrible allergies and was having a very hard time breathing by the time he tried to sleep. We visited at a time where there was a lot of pollen, but it would have been nice if the patio was cleaned/ rinsed off before we arrived. They did have many board games to choose from which was fun for the kids in our group.

The house was perfect for my family. Grandpa and grandma master suite upstairs with the main living area. Huge deck off the kitchen. Stocked with everything you would need. Downstairs bedrooms for my kids and spouses and the third bunk bed room for my 5 grands! Our dogs were also happy and comfortable. One mile from the beach and the quaint little town. It was a wonderful trip.

We had family from all over come for Mom’s 90th Birthday. We enjoyed the huge deck and the beach. We played music, did the hula with the girls, bbq’d outside. Even the dog enjoyed it. Tahoe is a special place in the world.

We enjoyed ou stay immensely! The propery is far enough away from all the traffic to be very quiet and peaceful. Very well equipped. Loved it.

The deck was amazing. Very large. Tables, chairs, BBQ. Great place for morning breakfast and evening chit chats. Living room furniture sooooo comfy! As was master bed. Because reception is spotty, make sure you have all the entry info (code for keys) prior to getting to the house. Do not rely on reception outside! Such a beautiful location. Close to the lake and King's Beach. Loved it! There is nothing better than clean air and the scent of pine trees!

We had a great stay! We had a family get-together and it comfortable swallowed up 8 adults (4 couple) and 2 infants. Great location at the north of the lake, and only 5 minutes to a grocery store or the beach. Another perk was the HUGE deck with great heat-lamps and a great grill for cooking. Darcy was very helpful in figuring out logistics, and she supplied a high chair and pack-n-play which cut down on checked baggage. Highly recommend.

We had a great time during our stay. Great location and we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood as well. The house had all the amenities we needed. We would stay here again .

My family and I loved this place! 11 of us (grandparents, grandkids, adult kids, and us). Very roomy and not overly decorated were you are afraid to break something. Kitchen was stock with pots and pans! (not just 1or 2). Huge deck. Spend alot of time there and at the beach. Will try to come back some day.

We wanted a family vacation for all the kiddos. The house was perfect. The kids were amazed at how big the house was. The beach was perfect even though it was chilli we made the best of our trip. I would stay there again and again. What a lovely home.

We enjoyed staying at this property. It had plenty of space and everything we needed for our weekend. The owner was great at communicating and responding when we needed something. Close to shopping and not to far from lake . It needs a little updating but otherwise great house !

Awesome house great location

This was our yearly snow trip with a group of family and friends, and it didnt disappoint. The cabin was in a great location, secluded but yet close to town. Had lots of room and space and had a good vibe and tasteful decor. I was especially pleased of the attention to detail for our amenities and cleanliness. So much to enjoy and wish we could've stayed abit longer at the cabin. I will surely go back again and recommend to to friends and family. We had so much fun here! We were an extended family with two youngsters. We built a snowman and had a great snowball fight in the front yard, which was a huge expanse of beautiful snow. Darcy is an excellent communicator! We had to reschedule due to the summer fires of last year and with school vacations and such. She was so considerate and understanding! So we ended up coming here in the winter, which was incredibly gorgeous! The house is wonderful for families! We played charades, from their extensive game collection every night with the kids and they had a blast! We ate in and cooked in the well stocked kitchen with every appliance we needed. First time ski lessons for the kids, ice skating at North Star and tubing at Boreal. The kids did not want to leave! The house is so well situated for all these activities! We would love to return in the summer and enjoy the warm weather activities!

Darcy was an amazing host! Her property was a wonderful location for bringing our two families together for the holidays. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the garage was stocked with lots of snow toys for the sledding hill. Can't wait to return!

Our family and friends celebrated my son’s 18th birthday and had a wonderful winterland experience. Upon our arrival, I was truly amazed the owners had literally everything we needed which added to a perfect weekend. The house was in a great location and close to everything. We highly recommend this Tahoe home to anyone.

In the description the owner says, "We have made every effort with our home to make it as comfortable and inviting as possible. " This is true. Everything we needed was there. The pictures and description on the website are accurate. The house is cozy and warm. We loved the wood burning stove. We used the games, pack n play and even the potty seat. We cooked almost all of our meals at "home" - the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, sharp knives, etc. The beds were comfortable. The house is well stocked with towels, blankets and sheets. We had our family with us including our two grandsons (3.5 year old and 2 year old). It was perfect for them too. The owner, Darcy, was easy to reach by phone, text or email and responded quickly. We will definitely rent this place again.

The Deck surface could have been cleaner, out of propane for BBQ but not a problem for us, owner offered refund if we got some. For sure I would rent this property again.

We had a wonderful time, great location, house closed to everything we needed: hiking, biking, zip lining, beach etc. The owner was very responsive and provided a lot of great advice regarding food and fun.

It was a great getaway. It felt like home the minute we walked in. Everything was fresh and clean. The location was great and a quite neighborhood. The only downfall which was no fault of the owners was the smoke from the Tamarak fire. Would definitely rent again!

We had a wonderful time at Darcy’s property. The house is spacious, has everything you need and some more. The deck is where we normally spent our time, and made precious memories. The beds downstairs are all comfortable. It’s truly a place like home!

The location is great and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We were able to walk our dog on a great trail 2 minutes up the road. The house is very kid and dog friendly. It had everything we needed. Would stay again.

This was the first family vacation we had over a year and we didn't know what to expect. We were just concerned about cleanliness but this house made us feel at ease. Although we took plenty of our own sheets and blankets to use along with sanitizers, Lysol spray, and disinfecting wipes we didn't feel like we needed to use it as much as we thought. The house was clean, with plenty of room for everyone, and equipped with everything we needed. Our beds were comfortable, kids loved the bunkbeds and the owner was very communicative. We would definitely stay at this place again!
