An ideal location for birdwatching in the Atlas Mountains. A good starting point for walks. Large comfortable rooms with radiators for the chilly nights. Plenty of options for vegetarians.

An early breakfast for people who want to go out bird watching at first light would be appreciated.

My wife and I had an alwful experience with this property and its service. When we arrived, we found that our room was in such a state that we could not sleep in it. The walls of the bedroom, bathroom and toilet were dump and the smell was so strong that we could not breathe. When we raised this issue with the owner, at first he denied that this was the case but we made it clear that we could not stay there. When we asked for another room, we were informed that the property was fully booked. We then asked for refund, at first the owner wanted us to stay awake until 6 am until some guests departed. We asked for refund, again and then the owner asked us to cancel the booking with Booking.com, which I tried but I could not do. Only when I started calling Bookings.com the owner was willing to consider to refund us. Initially, the owner wanted to refund us only 70 percent as 30 percent was a commission that they had to pay to Booking.com. Only when the owner heard me speaking with Booking.com, he refunded us. We asked for recommendation and support to find another hotel, no help or support was offered even though it was 2 am in the morning. To rub salt in the wound, the owner suggested that we should have booked a superior room on the first floor rather than the ground floor and so we would have avoided this issue. By the time we left the property, it was so late that we could not find any accomodation either around where this hotel was or in Marrakech and so we were forced to stay awake for 48 hours. We called Bookings.com and requested their help but it was too late for them to help us. On the following day, we received a message from the owner that they had identified the problem and that they were going to fix it. In the first place, this room should not have been offered in such a state. No apology was offered by the owner at any point.

Taieb, the owner, and his son Tony went out of their way to make us welcome and to facilitate car rental and visit to the amazing observatory.

the property is like get away private villa very comfortable and very quiet the view of beautiful Atlas Mountains is breathtaking with apple and walnut and olive trees very relaxing the owner and the staff make you feel like a family member my 2 boys and wife enjoyed very much so my thanks to everyone for their help and making our stay comfortable and enjoyable specially Hamid ayoub and Mohammed looking forward to come back again soon

We LOVED everything about Aurocher!! The moment we arrived we were led on a small tour of the property. The kind staff showed us the Saffron fields and vegetable gardens where they grow their own produce and use them for the delicious dishes they make in the kitchen! It was so peaceful and lovely. The pool was refreshing, there is a movie room, hiking paths around the property, fun games in the garden. The FOOD.. wow! The lamb prune tagine was probably the best I've ever had in Morocco (and I've had many over the last 3 years of living here). The accommodation is also 25 minutes driving to Oukaimden, which has access to the Toubkal National Park and a ski hill. So fun in the summer or winter. I wish we would have discovered this treasure Aurocher earlier! We will definitely be coming back and recommending it to all of our friends.

Moulay Taib and the staff were very friendly. They have offered us the best room even we booked another one. The food was tasty and the pool was clean. By night you can enjoy the starry night of the Atlas region.We definitely going back.

Nicely decorated and a lovely layout with a nice terrace and interior terrace with a pool. Easy to imagine how nice it would be in the warmer seasons though I visited in winter. The staff were friendly and helpful and served me lots of delicious food.

Many of the staff spoke neither English or French. The women who spoke excellent French was great.
