The house is even better than described. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out, CLEAN, and great appliances, beds, etc. But even more impressive than the space...the amenities are the best I've ever experienced in a VRBO house. The home is stocked with everything you could possibly need...from spices to papertowel...from extra bedding to games and books. The best amenity is Rion! We were interlodged several times and Rion was in constant contact. He shovelled out our car, made sure we had a shuttle to pick us up, offered to help with anything we might need. Can't thank the owners and Rion enough for such a fabulous week....and for taking the time and expense to ensure our comfort. The 8 year olds are already asking.....when are we going back to Redfern?????

2 families of 4 stayed for a week. We had plenty of privacy and room to spread out. The gathering areas were great for when we all wanted to be together. We could all easily fit in the lovely hot tub, too! The boot room performed perfectly and was a real luxury. We cooked at home every night. The kitchen is fully stocked with supplies, but we did have some trouble with making the oven work. However, there is another one right downstairs in the second kitchen! We used the shuttle to get to and from Alta. There were a few times that we had to wait quite a while because it was full, but it worked well for the most part. Overall, we would definitely come back!

Our group stayed at the Red Fern House for the second year in a row. Only difference this year is that our group grew from 6 to 10 because of how much we raved about last years’ trip to our friends. Perfect place, perfect trip!

Red Fern is a perfect ski house from the location to the boot room to the giant hot tub. We loved it and Rion the property manager was amazing helping us get set up with a guide and info on everything.

The house is very spacious, layout is perfect and has everything we needed to have a large party over the holidays. We really enjoyed the hot tub after skiing and spent a lot of time in the large kitchen and spacious living room. Rion is the perfect host - responsive as well as extremely knowledgable about anything in the area. It's easy to get to Alta but a bit more difficult to get to Snowbird given the shuttle doesn't go there. We found a hack - got the Cliff Lodge bell desk to come pick us up when we needed to go to Snowbird.

The Red Fern House is even better than the pictures make it look and Rion made everything so easy. Our group of 6 guys doesn’t get to see one another very often, and this house served as a perfect base for us to ski, eat, drink and enjoy being together. The hot tub is huge, nice and has great views down the canyon. We are already talking about coming back next year and the only thing we will change is to stay in for dinner every single night.

From the moment we started looking at the possibility of renting the Redfern house, we had a great experience. Rion, the property manager, was incredibly communicative throughout the entire process from start to finish. We had 7 guys in our group and we were all very comfortable with our individual spaces. We cooked in each night and the house had a fully setup kitchen with everything you'd need. The shuttle to the Bird or Alta was just a call away and I don't think we ever waited for more than 5-10 minutes to catch a ride. At the end of the day, it was easy to ski home from either resort. I can't recommend Redfern enough, you'll love the entire experience.

Intergenerational vacation with something for Everyone from 16-90 years young. The property manager Rion was more concierge than caretaker. A great resource and available for any house snafu, which we had few. (TVs not working and master bedroom shower needs repair) Spectacular views ,World class skiing and a city bus that will take you to and from snowbird or Alta for FREE. There is also a shuttle courtesy of Alta. We opted for private chefs and that was worth all the gold in Fort Knox. We would love to come back especially after the planned remodel.

My friends and I absolutely loved this place! The house was clean and comfortable. In addition, the proximity to the ski slopes were another plus. After skiing, we could relax in the outdoor hot tube.

House was off the chain amazing. Best hot tub in Alta and my bed was more comfortable than my one back home.

We stayed for President's weekend, a reunion of a ski group we had in highschool 20 years ago. It is a great house stocked with everything you could possibly need and really conveniently located close to the slopes. And Rion, the caretaker is a great bonus. So attentive and helpful and really cares about making your stay memorable. What a week.

I am 32 and never wrote a review for anything. I often read these prior to a stay at a hotel, visit to a restaurant, activities, etc. etc. But I personally never write a review after my experiences... However, my experience at the Red Fern House warrants a glowing review. The house is beautiful, comfortable, clean, practical, high tech, and all around incredible. But the best part of the Red Fern House is the manager, Rion. I booked for three days for a group of 9 guys. I booked 3 months in advance and had the privilege of communicating with Rion as often as I wanted prior to my arrival. He was responsive and informative to every request. When we arrived, he was beyond accommodating. Very professional, amicable, and always reachable. He even accompanied one of the guests to a nearby supermarket opened late one evening. In addition, the hot tub needed a tweak one night and he worked diligently to fix it (and he did within minutes). If you want someone to clean the house during your stay, a private chef, or any other accommodation, Rion will provide you with all the necessary details. You don't often find this type of attention and it significantly enhanced our stay. I recommend this house for every type of group, whether a guys/girls-getaway, a family trip, business trip, etc. It covers all and Rion only makes it better.

Excellent palace with great amenities. We will definately enjoy this place again. It accommodated the 12 of us very comfortably and the pick-up shuttle service worked very well. The SuperBowl was nicely visualized in the awesome entertainment room. The hot-tub was perfect (and large enough for all) with great views. Rion did a perfect job seeing to all our needs! We recommend highly!!
